Simpsons Animator Attempts to Revive Saturday Morning Sonic

Almost 14 years after its cancellation, an animator who has worked on The Simpsons, Family Guy, and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy hopes to revive the original Saturday morning Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon.

I really miss saturday morning cartoons. Ghostbusters, Kid Video, the Getalonggang, later on there was Mario Bros 3, lame-ass camp candy before hand, C.O.P.S. also there was The Wheel Warriors, Fantastic Maxx, Voltron, Thundercats, Transformers, Captain N the Game Master... cartoons of quality and originality are gone.

Why is this gaming news though? Oh.. because it pertains to Sonic. Lucked out.

this Sonic cartoon. Wild is right; it was so dark and crazy. I hope it goes through. I too miss the good ol' days with the great Saturday morning cartoons :-( ; now i'm feeling old and nostalgic

This would be awesome. If he pulls it off, I will be happy. It was a great show. But I would love for him to revive Batman: The Animated Series. Seriously, if he did, I would write him a love letter. That show rocked.

I just found the DVD set for the SatAM (the good one) version at Wal-Mart for like $15 bucks.

I remember waking myself up at 6 am on Saturday mornings to watch it when I was like, 10 years old. I'd love to see a third season, but I also feel kinda silly, considering I am now 25 and when I gasped at the DVD I found, my wife kinda rolled her eyes at me.

Nevertheless, I'd watch a third season, and thankfully he wants to revive the good Sonic, not that God-Awful one that was on weekdays. I still remember the Sonic Says at the end of those episodes.
