It's a lame article but kinda sarcastic. Like the snake one. He wants to get rid of it because he plays the game so damn much,that's what he's saying.

How offensive. Playing a damn WW2 game is no where near what the actual thing. I hate how fat nerds who play games think they're experts on the subject matter that the game simulates. And war PTSD is nothing to joke about.

I'd vote for everyone from the Sonic universe that isn't Sonic, Tails or Robotnic. If those characters that are left don't find themselves in a decent game soon then maybe it's time to let them all die. We'll see after Sonic Unleashed comes out.

Solid Snake shouldn't be in the list because MGS4 is "Snakes final mission" and even though he doesn't actually "die" in the game, it's the last MGS game with Solid Snake.

Masterchief should be the #1 video game character that needs to die off in my opinion.

I don't think that Mario or Donkey Kong are characters that needs to die off because Mario and Donkey Kong are classics and a Mario or Donkey Kong game every couple of years isn't that bad, but I DO think that Nintendo needs to stop relying on so many games with classic Nintendo game characters like Mario and they need to create new video game characters.

Master Chief should be the #1 videogame character that needs to die off? After three critically acclaimed and million selling games? When other characters have been around for decades starring in dozens of games and god knows how many crappy spin-offs (cough Mario cough) As usual spoken like the true fanboys you are. Both of you stay the hell out of the Gamer Zone.

Snake is already "Killed off" so I think he shouldn't be on the list.

Mario is fine, classic character, each new game is usually pretty good.
(Except when they over use him ** Mario tennis, soccer, golf, sewing. **

DK should be long gone!

Same with Sonic

MC could come back for maybe 1or 2 more games then he should get to retire with Snake.

10. Master Chief- Heck no! MC is the man. He never dies!

9. Every Blond, Spikey-Haired, Pre-Teen, Anime Character- Yeah... That needs to end.

8. Samus- Eh... I could do with out, but she doesn't really "need" to leave.

7. Every World War II Soldier- We'll see how Call of Duty:WaW turns out.

6. Solid Snake- Well, we're not going to have to worry about that anymore.

5.Orcs/Elves/Dwarves- What? that would mean Blizzard could make games anymore. I'm not down with that.

4. Donkey Kong- Sure. Yeah not. Nintendo needs to start some new IPs. That are good.

3. Link- Wait they want to get rid of Link? I know that this contradicts my last comment but Link needs to stay, his games are just way too good.

2. Sonic- lol as long as the guy in the picture stops dressing like him I'm OK with that.

Vash the Stampede is not a video game character, xbox needs halo like a hooker needs blow, playstation needs spikey haired anime heros like a fat kid needs cake, and this guy is a total idiot for saying that he has spent more time in normandy than WWII veterans. I know there is no harm in what he said, but it's disrespectful for those who have faced those horrors. Also, WWII games aren't too bad, they've just been overdone for the past 10 years. It's still one of the most entertaining wars to cover in a game. I personally don't mind a well done WWII game because my grandpa was in it, and it's kind of a connection to a life I never knew he had.
