because I dont want to spoil anything for me but all I can say is GO Kojima GO your work is awesome!!! and after seeing the transition between mgs 2 and mgs 3 graphics I cant even imagine mgs 5 would look like but it would be awesome if Kojima would work on it!!!

I think he won't be working directly on an mgs game. He will be producing it, but won't go indepth like he has done with MGS4.

good game franchies do not deserve to end,...i just hope mgs5 will be like 50 hours long on a 100gb blue ray disc, ....and with graphics better than KILLZONE 2 LOL..... =D

they always seem to interpret him wrong, arnt they are the once who started tht kojima stated ps3 is not good enough for mgs4...leave these morons, kojima on his interview with gametrilers said tht, hes ready to move on, his development team can take MGS anywhere from here. he said as long as there are users for mgs, it will come out, but he wants to move on with other hardcore action game project, "which he secretly even started and info for tht will be coming out next year on E3"...(he dint say tht but konami president stated this tip bout his upcoming game)....so u will c kojima only producing MGS rather thn directing but to say tht its the end, no way...MGS is far from over.....

i have seen now that kojima doesnt have the ability to use the ps3 within anywhere near its ability, come on now, he says he overestimated the machine, yet games like killzone 2 and wardevil exist? and the machine is yet going, we still dont know what ibms project for ps3 looks like, but i can assure it will blow killzone 2 off of the planet, and ibm hasnt ever been able to max out the cell processor, so the ps3 really doesnt have a limit, and dont say stupid sh!t like, "rsx limits ps3" a common misconception as many confer, they forget a whole spec that is still having hardware designers scratching their heads, and wondering why the best pcs cant shake ps3 which people claim is "2 years old tech" thats because of this "1.8tflops" which many said makes no difference for games graphics, well sony showed them that was a lie, it may not make a difference in game graphics but in their sony pictures studios it matters a WHOLE lot, thats why 2nd year games which is really first year games, since the ps3 hardware is something no one has ever used in gaming, the first gen games looking like killzone 2 and wardevil, and final fantasy 13? these games all look like cg, which means that cryteks statement prior to ps3 release is VOID, remember,"ps3 and xbox are to weak to handle crysis" well then why do we have games that beat that in base graphics in every way? what i mean is, other than SIZE, crysis is well uh............................ ....nothing.

all in all, kojima, your a great developer but you lack true knowledge of the machine you claim you overestimated, maybe you just overestimated your own talent of developing great visuals.

Saw the scan before Kotaku's post, didn't bother to translate cuz I didn't think anybody could F*** it up...
Yet here's Ashcraft again translating the few words he knows or is purposely misleading people again w/ his half assed translation.

Leaving out words gives the sentences a different meaning. The title should say "Kojima already thinking about MGS5". Why the hell would you want to be unclear by leaving out "already"?

It's pretty clear from the interview MGS5 will happen, just not by Kojima.

Here's not taking sentences out of context and it's pretty clear to me Kojima is "moving on":

Kojima: I think the MGS series will always continue. Even if I quit the company It'll most likely to continue. However I think MGS5 has to be done by Kojima Production though.

Hamamura(Interviewer): Fans will definitely agree with you on that. Please make it!

Kojima: Well because that is something you have to do as a producer. Although in the end I want somebody else to be the producer. I want to let the younger staff make a new MGS. As long as it's a sneaking mission based action game, any direction they take will be fine by me. But, Snake will be retired.

Hamamura: I see. So you've made the finale for Snake this time, any thoughts on that?

Kojima: There seems to be some staff that are saddened by the fact, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Hamamura: What! Nothing at all!? (laughs)

Kojima: Well, I guess it's a bit harsh to say that it doesn't bother me at all (laughs), the end of one thing means the beginning for another, I already have my worries on following concerns. The thing I'm most worried about is if the fans will like the game or not. Besides that, there are things like the concerns for the next MGS, the staff of Kojima Productions, and also the things I need to do in the future. I'm mostly thinking about those kinda stuff, so when I look back on these 4 years I don't get a feeling that it has been a long/tedious process. Although the truth is that now I also feel relieved, so I think I did a pretty good job coming through.

The above was just to clear things up.
In the beginning of the interview he mentioned the game completely filled up the 2 layer blu-ray, and how he was going to put a English track on the Japanese version, and Spanish track on the US release (He said he promised this 4 years ago in an event in Spain).
Kojima said at first he was excited that he won't need to worry about disk space now he is working with blu-ray. Although he said he thought of the same when they were moving onto CD-ROMs.

Heck I'll probably translate the whole thing and post it again.

Kotaku's Ashcraft is either a dumbass or just an asshole. He did that story on Kojima before and completely edited the translation to make it sound misleading.
