5 Ideas for an Amazing GTA V

This article outlines some ideas that could be interesting if they were implemented in GTA V. Keep in mind that probably none of these ideas will ever make it in a GTA game, and that Rockstar North has a very focused design which tries to keep what is quite a complex game very accessible to a lot of people. Therefore, some of these ideas may be too involving to incorporate if they make the game overwhelmingly complex for too many people.

Just on PS3 for sure. Fully utilize the HDD install and 50GB blu ray disc. It can be so much better if they just drop the ecksbawks.

1. Don't make it so dark that i can't see, you can't even see the hooker in the car at some points, the cops are too easily alerted in this one perhaps they should relax that, make it more like San Andreas basically, lol!

What I hated was that you automatically got a wanted level for driving drunk. A cop doesn't even have to spot you (or at least in my experience). Thought it is fun to stumble around trying to get a cab and occasionally busting your ass.

5 - How bout a piss option...
So you can piss on homeless faces or write Niko, for example, on the wall of the police department.

It would be cool if Niko or any other main character could smoke. Buy packs, smoke them etc. and make some kills with that feature.

For example: Chase somebody until he crashes, then go near the gasoline (press L1 to throw cigarette) and walk away, them BOOM. nice right??

7 - Just forget about it
Besides, soon EA is probably gonna own Rockstar and the game will never be exclusive to any consoles again. And maybe appropriately so, since GTA now has become as blad and recycled as Madden.

Rockstar was lucky to catch lightning in the bottle one time with GTA III. I'm in no way expecting anything from Rockstar anymore.

planes might be a little iffy. if they give gamers the freedom to use planes, even if they don't act on certain ideas, just the fact that it's there will make certain others flip. it's like if they put a school in the game. as far as i know, there are no schools. could you imagine the crap they would get if you could shoot somebody on school grounds?

fix the pool and make it like it was in San Andreas, R* ruined one of my favorite GTA activities

make the darts much more challenging, because right now its just point and click

add more mini-games period, i want to see like 50 of them in the next GTA

bring back the varied landscape of San Andreas, with the mountains and the deserts and all that- and this time i want a ski resort with a skiing minigame

more and crazier wapons, im tired of having the same weapon set every time

ability to organize your own robberies and stuff, or extort any shop or run protection rackets anywhere

extensive customisation system for weapons- add scopes, laser sights, shotgun or RL attachments etc etc

oh yeah and make it PS3 exclusive- the Blu-Ray beckons

lets take it up 2 levels and bring it to South Africa; the women, the kasis (kinda lyk ghetto but less advanced) , the shacks , high crime, packed cities, 15 passenger taxis, tourists, unpredictable weather and who would mind waking up to an african sunrise plus a whole lot more! . this would be the biggest challenge !

14 - Better cop AI
Example: Some guy started shooting at me for no reason, a cop was driving by all nice and slowly doing nothing about it...I fight/shoot back, and the cop finally springs into action and starts firing at me and trying to arrest me, completely ignoring the shooter...nice, two stars for defending myself.

Every GTA has been like that so far...San Andreas was the worst, with all the gangs and stuff.
