We spent several hours playing the latest version of Wrath of the Lich King in Blizzard's offices this week. We checked out all the available new zones, met new friends and foes, tried out new quests, and discovered the fate of old acquaintances.

I really like the review of the gameplay by the fact that there are timestamp references to the video about Northrend in the same thing, seeing as how Blizzard have prevented the use of custom screenshots, or bootleg ones =P

Why do they have to be so hard on that?

For me WoW was ruined the day gear and class decided the outcome of a PvP fight and not personal skill. Like a top tier would never lose to a lower tier, gear wise. A warlock would never lose to a Mage, and so on. It just well ruined it for me.

It was always like that, what are you on about? =)

I can accept that gear makes much matter, as it IS a RPG, but there should be more effort put into making the game slightly better at 1v1 balance, as it helps a lot for the XvX as well, making skill most important. Tournament Realms are a place where everyone have equal gear, and where only class and skill are the factors. Making that into only skills is a priority imho.

Well before MC became beatable in 50 minutes and the best people had where blues from Strat. and the like it was a bit more balanced.
