There are many different types of people on Xbox Live, some nice and some not so nice. However, despite the millions of people on Xbox Live, many of them fit into several stereotypes:

1. Heavy breather
2. The guy with no mic
3. The 'is anybody there?' guy
4. Abusive
5. Broken Mic
6. Tactician
7. Mean adult
8. Weirdo
9. The singer
10. The foreigner

ha, its sad because I'm sometimes the guy who lags so bad he can't be killed. it sucks living out in the boons, I have bandwidth restrictions, can only go max 40 - 50 kbs/s which is fine, unless someone else decides to go online that is :P then I start to lag bad. but when that happens I end up just quitting as to not ruin the game for everyone else.

PS to everyone I've played against when this happens . . . your welcome, ha.

on XBox Live maybe, but I'm pretty sure you can't give it on PSN, at least not that I know of, and I don't have a 360, sorry but as a college student I can't afford 2 systems right now, my second systems an SNES.

Short funny story.

I was in Target 1 section over from some teens bragging about calling people N*@@e$ on XBOX live. I creped up behind them and yelled "THAT WAS ME YOU WAS TALKN TO YOU LITTLE MOTHER F#@(%R$!!!!!" I have never seen pu$$y run that fast in my life. LOL

My wife is still mad @me over that one.

This guy is drunk and loud, but is generally in a good mood, but he isn't very good - which doesn't matter to him because all he cares about is "having fun". You'll find him standing around on the map for an easy kill because he has left to go to the bathroom - again - or to get another beer.

These guys don't last very long because I believe they pass out.

I would not say that. Most people want to be in an environment with people that they are like. N4G is free so I will put up with jerk. Xbox live is not. For the last year I have been paying to play with jerks. I may have a change of heart but for now I choose to not game online. BTW, I have been a live member for about 3 1/2 years. I have the same experiences on PC since the day I started gaming. It's got worse over the last few years but this is what happens on any social online gaming platform.

I don't know what kinda guy I am. I just play the game, kick ass, and have fun. (PSN anyways, on COD4). Usually I complain about how I lag all the time since my internet sucking fuks(no matter how you put that it always comes out bad, eh?). Anyway the most annoying people have to be the kids that think they're the best at the game. And the guy with an M60 who snipes you and thinks they're the best by running around the whole time holding down the fire button. Get me an M16 and I'll own their ass. Get me a sniper and I'll get sniped by them >.>. Go figure.

this is mostly due to the fact that most people on XBL have mics. And most people on PSN do not. I'm sure it would be pretty similar if more people had mics. I bought Warhawk which came with a mic and no one online uses one.

"THE ACHIEVEMENT WHORE"

- This is the guy who ruins the online experience because he's more interested in bragging about achievements and gamerscore than actually enjoying the game.
- He begs you between rounds to help him unlock the achievements so he can brag about them, even though he's never actually "achieved" most of the difficult ones without help
- He is the guy who never bothers to pick up the skull in kill the carrier matches, and he is the guy who never tries to keep the hill in king of the hill matches. He'd rather work up his stats and try to collect achievements instead of playing the game correctly.
