The Game Community According to Derek Yu

Among the many game creators in the international game community is Derek Yu. Yu has created a half dozen games of his own, from Aquaria to I'm OK to Quibble Race to Diabolika II. Last year, the Independent Game Festival Grand Prize winner was Aquaria, a vibrant underwater adventure, co-created by Yu and Alec Holowka. Yu runs the website the Independent Gaming Source and has had illustrations published in The Portland Mercury and Game Developer Magazine. As part of GameTap's week of highlighting independent gaming, GameTap asked Yu to tell what it's like to be at the heart of the community.
