The gap between realism and gaming is practically diminished at this point. If I had to vote for my favorite in that video, it would have to be GTAIV and Killzone.

Damn...and lets not forget MGS4.

I listened to that podcast also. I wish I didn't. Know I am even more eager to play MGS4 so please no more spoilers. Its gonna be tough since several people in the game media got a change to play through the game. Out of these videos the Samburu Warrior was the most awesome. I hope they are using that in a game. We need something like that. A game with African warriors that take place back in the time of Shaka Zulu would be really cool and something new.

I remember seeing this on G4. Facial expressions can be captured with an ordinary video camera. That is pretty remarkable.

Hopefully the guys at Quantic Dream can incorporate this technology in their upcoming game, Heavy Rain. The tech demo was awesome but the facial expression was really off and weird.

Image Metrics updated their site, it used to just be a the a video of the split screen of the women and the render.

I especially love the fact that you can use any camera for to do the work. Heard about them when GDC rolled around, nice to see them getting more recognition.

How can you disagree... you don't think it looks good.

I mean the GTA IV really looks nice. and Killzone2 and MSG4, well some use it better then others, but I think there is no doubt that it's really done well.

I think the best job is in heavenly sword what they show here looks okay but animation still looks to be missing. I wont judge killzone2 or metal gear solid 4 yet but unreal tournament 3 doesn't look so good.
