Rumor: Target Pulling Mass Effect Off Shelves? Doesn't Look Like it.

Gaming website Playfuls.com reported earlier today that in light of Fox's recent Mass Effect debacle, US retailer Target is pulling the game off of shelves. They didn't cite any sources, so I decided to make a few phone calls to see what I could dig up.

Very, very strange that they would even think about doing it.

Hope this is true. I don't want Fox News to influence on the gaming industry on no way.

6 - You've got to be kidding me.
You people actually think fox news has that much power. Unless they own target, they have no influences over what they do. You people actually believe target gives rat arse what fox news says. No, they probably would take it off only if it sells like sh1t.Or they started this rumor to get people to buy more copies. What's next? An article about how fox news influence the presidential election.

8 - Again:
Every time this comes up I watch person after person decry "Fox News", which is absolutely fascinating because I guess when you repeat a lie often enough you think its true.

One person, who does not work for Fox News, giving incorrect information about Mass Effect does not make "FOX NEWS!!!" the culprit. It was one stupid person on a show and people are acting like there has been some massive campaign of misinformation perpetuated for weeks and weeks. EA has the chance to clear up the record if they care to, and at this point... WHO CARES?

It happened weeks ago, it's over, it's done, get over it already and quit trying to dig up the story over and over again just so you can take shots at "Fox" for something that it didn't even do. I realize you hate hate Fox for an entirely different and unrelated to gaming reason but at this point it's just pitiful.
