From the outer reaches of our galaxy to the bustling social scene at a small Japanese high school, the best games of 2007 stand out from the pack with exceptional graphics and engrossing gameplay. Some thrilled us with immersive worlds; some gripped us with exhilarating action; others focused on sheer entertainment value.
