Very good news. I've always enjoyed the Hitman franchise. Be very nice to have a proper "next gen" Hitman. In fact, Hitman may very well be my favorite stealth franchise of all time (either that or Splinter Cell---I know that's gonna piss off alot of MGS fans, but hey..just never got into that franchise). Be very nice to see Hitman hit the PS3...hopefully done properly.

Yeah it ain't official. Most of the trailer uses real life footage just to move to clear game (ingame or CG) graphics.

Just doesn't seem the way to go for an official trailer...

I almost choked when I just saw this, I'm one of the biggest Hitman fans out there.

But after watching the video, I just dont buy it..

Although I do hope VERY MUCH for Hitman 5 to be announced at E3, this video looks FAKE

looks more like a fanmade piece. This doesn't have anywhere near the class of something official. The Text effect at the end is just terrible, the lighting is poor. The Flame effect on the Bullet is crap, I'm pretty sure the Devs would use a particle system for fire instead of some bad looking flame texture on a 3d mesh that shrinks. As for the bullet isn't it far too big? And there's been no effort in the background... Blurred Outdoors and a flat wall... Also the Target looks nowhere near important enough for hitman to assassinate and the dev team usually get that across well.The more i look at it the more obvious it is that is pure fake. I could do better if i wanted... Somebody Got a costume, learned some really basic 3D.Pause it 3 seconds in and your an idiot if you think that's good enough quality for an e3 teaser. you would get laughed out of e3 and told never to return

Remember that rumored leaked trailer for Kane and Lynch 2? That too didn't have great production value either, and guess what it is real!!! Not only is this leak trailer real they use the opera song from the Hitman movie. Remember when they said that this game is going to based on the sequel of the movie? Either way we will know 6-15-10 the day E310 starts and I am off from work too can't wait.

In fact, they have went on record distancing themselves from the movie, saying that they would stay true to previous iterations of the game story and their own ideas and creations,With that said, i'm very happy it wont be linked to the movie, and can't wait for this game, I would like to believe that this is one of sonys megaton announcements as a timed or full exclusive, though i don't think square or ico will do it, square because of the money, ico because of its pc fanbase... :)

As a 3d artist, i have to say that this is incredible fake, i was on an lecture some weeks ago, and there was a guy from IO there, and this is no where close to their level.

He was not allowed to talk about what he was working on right now, but he mentioned that they are working on a very big title, and that it will have lots of rooms in it.. me and my fellow students all tought it was hitman atleast. So an official trailer at e3 isnt impossible.

using live action is actually easier than pulling off a good 3D scene to match todays standards, so definately 100% fake

so hard to tell atm whether it's genuine or not. i really hope it is though because i would love a proper hitman game this gen. i loved playing through blood money but i didn't feel it made used of the current gen systems too well, possibly because it came out near the start of this generation.
