Here's the strategy I use in Killzone 2:

1. Spawn
2. Sprint
3. Own

Now I just have to do something about my KD ratio. It sunk so far below 1 back in my young KZ2 days. 2.0 is the standard now though. Very satisfying...

This game s ridiculously easy to come first player in, i normally clear a round about 1000 points ahead of the next player, lots of fun. and yes i can't stand snipers on the attacking team, ffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Of course it's easy to be 1337 when you're playing a demo where a lot of the players have only spent a minimal time with the game and don't even know the maps yet. A good FPS doesn't become it's best until a long enough time have past so that it's only the vets still playing it.

If you're still a 1000 points ahead of everyone else by then, THEN I'll be impressed. Now? Not so much...

i usually end the round with top 3 score on my team or of the game, and thats only cause i use everything in my arsenal and not just the bullets...is there a lot of ppl on the mics in a ps3 game, cause amazingly enough, i find a rare amount of players that actually use the mics in squads in a 360 game, anyone i come across that has one including myself are usually dumbfounded as to why ppl use it on mw2, but not on the bfbc2 demo/beta when you would need it more :S

for myself, winning is top priority, so i come out on top score usually, but my k/d is usually around 1.4 (my current average) not too bad, but im trying to be more precise now that i know the layout of the map, the pros and cons of the classes, etc

Delt4...yeah tell me about it, I was playing the other night and I was an assault class and the other 3 guys in my squad were recon and they were all at the top of the hill sniping. It was so damn aggravating. We didn't even get past the first two objectives. Not only were they for the most part being useless but every time I tried to respawn I was no where near the objective.

It's so true too, I was playing a match with a friend of mine the other day. He had 2 of his friends in our squad also, and they're COD fanboys. They couldn't play BFBC2 if their life depended on it, and much to my surprise, they admitted that they suck at BFBC2 lol.

Edit: Sad thing is though, they quite after like 10 minutes. They didn't even try to give the game a chance before they went back to COD.

But it has some advices in it that's not very good.

1. DON'T park your tank on the top of a hill and "rain hellfire". It's much more usefull on the ground close to an abjective when you're playing as attackers. When one of your teammates activate the crate, you'll be needed there for defense.

2. When in a vehicle going towards the enimy base as attackers, DON'T run down all the trees "better line of sight to the target". All of your teammates who're running on foot will need them for cover a lot more than they'll need the clear line of sight.

Otherwise I think it was some good advices in the video :-)

I think he meant clearing the line of sight for defenders, not attackers. And in my opinion, I think keeping the tank on the hill at the first base is a good tactic. Makes it a lot harder for the defenders to destroy it. I personally just try to stay as far away from the anti-tank missiles as possibly.

Edit: Re-watched the video, and he did say to increase line of sight to the target. I try not to do that, but it's very effective on defense.

You're right that you'll probably last longer if you position the tank on as far away as possible from the enimy base, but you'll be of a lot less use to your team as well. First thing you should do when rolling into the base is to take out the mounted anti-tank guns. When that's done it's usually not that hard to stay alive as long as you have a good guy at the machine gun, and keep a look out for guys with C4.

1. You're right, keeping the tank in that position for very long is sure to get it blown up by one of the AT guns. However, I do find it effective at long range at demolishing stuff once those rockets are taken down. There's nothing like rolling through with all the vehicles wreaking havoc at the ground level.

2. You're right, at least in theory. Sometimes it pays to mix things up - taking out the trees changes the focus of your attack from "just running up on foot" to instead being vehicle heavy. Being in plain view definitely puts your ground troops at risk.

...system needs to support not allowing those of lesser skill to join a squad of higher skilled members. Sick of my squad filling up with snipers or those who just want to sit at the back of the map.

BC2 is some of the best multiplayer fun to be had when players play as a team. Its at its worst when you end up with a team thats half full of snipers....why oh why could they limit the number of snipers across a team to a maximum of 2 at any one time.

You know you can lock a squad, right? I haven't messed around with it too much as I don't have many friends that are able to play yet, but I'd imagine you can lock your squad and invite certain people to join so as to limit idiots for ruining your squad score.

Communicate. Please. There is a much higher chance of winning if you talk to your squad mates. If you're a 360 owner, then get/use the mic. Same for PS3 owners, use the mic or better any bluetooth headset that you use with the phone. Its not that hard unless you really got a problem with talking with other human-being.

The problem is people don't listen. When you got a squad full of MW2 snipers they will not listen to a word you are saying. They rather sit back and care more about stupid Kill and death ratio.

that's very true. Communication is a great and wonderful thing, but most people are in the game for themselves, and it is hard to impress the importance of teamwork on people like that. Hell, most of the time I see over half of the people running around without a squad. BF2 and BF2142 did everything they could to demonstrate the importance of squads and teamwork, but still more often than not most people are going to run around without a squad. This is why I hope to either reform my old clan or find an already established clan that isn't full of people I can't stand.

I am so happy some one made a video like this. Most people who play BC2 are complete morons who do everything WRONG. And like the author of this video, it really is god damn MW2's fault.

I have been getting really sick of all the idiots who just camp with sniper rifles on attack. You don't need like 5-6 guys sniping enemies who will soon re-spawn in the exact same place!! So many people don't understand how attacking objectives work.

I think there is some things that the author should have said in this though. For one he should have clearly said 'USE TEAMWORK'. Seriously, best thing you can do in this game. Me and my friends use communication, work together, and rape every game.We dominate every game because of it (win and all get top of the table). It doesen't matter if you are the best shooter or whatever, just work as a squad and it is highly affective.

Also, if you are on attack decide what is the best strategy for taking down an objective. Either 1. Plant the charge and defend it, 2. Blow up the objective with explosives, or 3. If the objective is inside a decently sized building, COLLAPSE THE GOD DAMN THING. It sometimes is the best choice.

Oh another rant, people need to stop all running for the god damn choppers. They are affective obviously, but I hate seeing my ENTIRE team run for it -_-

I am bummed he gave away the tagging in this video, has been one of my favourite tricks for taking out idiots, mainly all the guys who snipe on attack. (First base, hit back towards the hill, own with turret = win)

What makes it worse though, is that almost 100% of the time it's someone who is complete garbage at flying the thing. As soon as they take off they're all over the place, then about 10 seconds later, if that even, boom! Once it respawns it's the same thing all over again.

People need to learn that if they're that bad at flying the thing then they shouldn't be messing with it. They're stupid though, so they'll continue to get in it every single time and crash into something. The helicopter is the best line of defense for your team when put in the right hands, but everyone is an idiot and never leaves it for those who can put it to good use..

Well first of all, all of these people getting the helicopter never once bother to look at controls. If they did that then they would at least have a basic understanding on how to fly the thing, and wouldn't be all over the place as soon as they got in the c0ckpit. Second, if they really want to fly and get better at it they should wait for when they're in a game where there are far less players.

I do agree that it can be pretty hilarious when some noob gets in one, though. They try so hard to keep the thing in the air, but just fail completely. When your team is in desperate need of a helicopter at the time, though, it is extremely annoying and just makes me mad.

No camping? This game lets you camp that you usually don't even get 1 death in a match. You do realize that right? and you guys say CodMW2 was bad, well, it's better for sure. Sniping in this game takes two shots to kill= FAIL. Good part about sniping is you don't die. Camouflaging is the best part of this game.

Uh BC2 is all about teamwork. Not 'who can get the most points' or 'who can get the best K/D ratio'. So someone can act like a wimp and farm kills as a sniper but essentially they are doing nothing to actually help 'win'. (Though it is possible to find some that is actually decent support, but most of the time it is just about K/D ratio)

2 shots in the foot but if a sniper didn't take the time and skill to make a perfect shot then proletariat would run aroun with sniper rifles shooting from the hip like cod. this game is going for a bit more realisim. I have to say a little kentucky windage makes that head shot feel a bit more satisfying.

It only takes two shots every time, or more, for the people who aren't all that great at sniping. A good sniper will be able to take someone out from just about any distance away with their first shot a lot of the time. If you're not skilled enough to get headshots at least 1/4th of the time then you shouldn't be using that class anyway.

Also, in BC2 there isn't any real camping for the most part. If they see you, you can usually see them. Sure, some people will go out of their way to sit in a corner somewhere and wait for someone to pass by, but you won't get away with it in most spots. This game is also team based, so if you're actually working together then a camper isn't going to do much at all.

I play a sniper most of the time. I'm the kind of player who actually looks out for my teammates, and I help keep people from arming/disarming the bombs, or getting into vehicles. You're right though, most players, no matter what class, are just there for themselves and care nothing about their teammates.. Sadly there isn't anything that can be done about it.

i don't wish to brag, but i'm not a lone here, but when I spot (yes SPOT!!) and sniper an enemy, i usually kill him in 1 shot (headshot)

its easy, just aim the center of the crossair a LITTLE above the enemy's head (considering he's far away and leveled to you)

the bullet drop will hit him smack down in the face, trust me =) I get a LOT of head shots in the game

yes if you miss, it takes 2 shots, but if you're good enough that shouldn't be a problem.

+ you forget this is a rather weak sniper rifle compared to others you get later in the game

oh and camping isn't easy in this game because of spotting....I HUNT campers in the game, its fun =)

best way is to snipe for a bit, more, snipe, move, snipe

Actually, I'm surprised at how many people I come across who are way higher ranked than I am and yet I always seem to score higher than they do. When the actual game comes out with all of the maps and the different modes, then I will reserve the need to brag about scores, but at the moment where we only have one map and one mode, it doesn't take long to get used to things, so that's not much of an excuse.

Did you play the demo for BFBC1? It was really easy to no.1 in each and every game there too. When the full game had been out for a few months, it was a completely different thing.

Also, if you're a really good player you'll probably keep on getting positioned nicely on the result list, but hold the celebration until the full release.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to brag. I tend to stay on the humble side of things, even during my periods of extreme luck when I own face several weeks in a row. I'm just saying that at the moment there seems to be a lot of people that play the demo regularly, and that should give them plenty of time to get used to the map. Granted, this is the PC version I'm speaking of, so I don't know how many low ranking people one might run into on the consoles.

When all the snipers in the attacking team camp up on that hill, I always run up and knife them all from behind.

Don't all stick together, it's best to spread out a bit but not too far otherwise you won't be able to receive back up in time or give your friends back up.

I'll tell you why I don't spot, I didn't know you could. I had no idea, I figured the orange triangles were from people who used the tracer gun. I also didn't know you could point at a teammate and request ammo. I have been yelling and knifing my teammates trying to get them to drop some ammo or a health pack. Very informative video.

I'm talking about people that did know about it and just don't think its worth using (MW2 lone wolf fragger noobs)

But trust me, use it, you get +20 points every time someone you spotted gets killed, and it makes life MUCH easier, allowing you to be able to shoot and KILL enemies hiding behind tree's, wood and even walls (explosives)

C4 + spotting = win.

I'll definitely be using it. Even if I didn't get points, I am all about winning first and my stats second. I mean I want to have a good round as much as anyone but I will take a lower k/d ratio in order to get a victory. I'll probably try it out tonight.

i like the idea of the defibrillator, but sometimes im out of ammo and a teammate keeps reviving me. it can get annoying at times, we need an option of allowing revives, especially when defending due to infinite tickets. great video

I would never complain about being revived, especially when attacking (restores your death ticket). Usually there is a kit you can pick up nearby.
