Rumor: IWNet giving Modern Warfare 2 players viruses

More bad news for gamers who bought the PC version of Modern Warfare 2. This time around it is reported by a user on the Infinity Ward forum that there is a Trojan virus that is spreading with everyone that are on IW.Net Modern Warfare 2. Yikes!

Unreal Engine & Source aren't that demanding when it comes to specifications due to them needing to run on the hardware optimally of the lowest common denominator. That goes for most console engines when you see the required specs are no where near $5000 dollar rigs.

Its almost as if IW is going out of its way to piss off PC gamers, if this is true.Many anti-virus software flukes and marks stuff that has viruses when they aren't.

Well the virus is basically a digital form of a sexually transmitted infection(STI) so i think infected is well suited.

When a company start focusing only on how to increase their profit they start forgetting about the people who made them rich in the frst place. It is sad how a company destroys one of its best franchise by milking it to the degree of abusing it. People will start hating it and not enjoying it. I can think of sonic games and tomb raider

Repetitive gameplay is the same.

I have no more faith in IW. I'll be playing Shattered Horizon.

Also Crysis is on sale on Steam.. hehehe. Makes MW2 look like Gamecube graphics.

DO NOT BUY A "GAME RIG" AT BEST BUY or wherever you get your tech stuff. They are way overpriced and have crappy hardware. If you want a good PC then build it yourself. If you don't know how, then Google it.
Any "Game Rig" you see on display at an electronics store will be crap and you'll be over paying for it.

Every time my friends try to show off the graphics on their console I'm just like, "are you serious, dude?" Most console games are sub HD and full of jaggies its not even funny.

PC games have HD as standard. I mean, some console games have very good graphics for what the hardware can pump out. I'm not going to name any names as I don't want to look biased. But PC games just blow consoles graphics out of the water.

For months now, all the fanboys have been saying "get the deffinitive version on PC" for like every game that available on pc. This is exactly why I don't game on my pc. I will stick with my consoles, ps3/360/wii for all of my gaming. Too bad so sad.

The reason they call it "the definitive" is because it can (if you have a good enough PC) offer much better graphics then the consoles. PC gamers also prefer a mouse + keyboard over a controller (which is just a big STOP sign to them).

Take it from a console/PC gamer, both choices have their ups and downs. Imo PC has more ups for gaming if you know how to use it. (1 word, Mods!) :P
