NowGamer: Tony Hawk: Ride Preview

NG writes: "Tony Hawk: Ride has built itself a reasonably large wad of notoriety since it was announced, with many people both in and out of the games industry questioning Activision's decision to release the game as it is. We're sure you're aware, but if not here's the quick overview: the game comes with a full-size skateboard peripheral for players to stand on, and built-in motion sensors detect their movements that are translated to in-game manoeuvres. On initial tests we weren't impressed by the peripheral, finding it unwieldy and unresponsive, and the £100 price tag slapped on it came as a bit of a slap in the face."
