If it's well executed, this game could cause many such 360 owners to seriously consider picking up a PS3. No it won't.. 360 owners are 360 owners (mostly) because they like the exclusive games on that system or the services it offers.

They may buy a PS3 because they are interested in that console too, but that doesn't mean they have "converted".

Also applies the other way around, no one game is likely ever to convert a 1 console only owner to another console in the masses.

Ok for the first thing about MAG, I am gonna hav to disagree wit u about 360 only gmers converting over for that one game because as of rite now we havent seen anything from that game, gameplay-wise. Also one game isnt enough to turn 360 loyalists to buy a ps3. I know because even though I do own all 3 systems, I do like my ps3 more then my 360 and wii bu will admit the ps3 did have a slow start but oh how times have changed with so many exclusives coming to the ps3 which really for those who dont own a ps3 now, I can seriously say u are missing out on tons of awesome games u wont be able to play on any other console. This is why I think 360 loyalists will not convert unless sony decides to drop the price to a more affordable price and MAG turns out to be an expirience that ever fps fan dreamed of then maybe it will get sum 360 owners to also buy a ps3.

As for the 360 having games that are exclusive, yes the 360 has had an early jump with a few like Gears 1, Mass Effect & Fable 2 but the way I see it, no matter how great of a start the 360 did have, in my opinion MGS4, & LBP which are only 2 amazing exclusives on the ps3 that nothing from that 360 library can matchup too exclusively? If im wrong, prove me wrong. The 360 has a great library of games but u can also say that with the ps3 as of now and the ps3 just keeps bringing hits after hits AAA exclusives and I can guarantee it will continue to deliver with, Infamous, Uncharted 2, GT5, Heavy Rain, War Devil, God of War 3, White Knight Chronicles, MAG, Warhawk 2, Next Socom, Team Ico Game, and more and more. I just cant see the ps3 being slowed down from now on.

Also with XNA that is awesome and all but even with games that us users are going to be able to create, u really think these titles will be able to go against all the big guns sony and nintendo will be dishing out? I dont think so, I think it is an awesome feature but it is nuttin dat wont hurt nintendo or sony down the stretch.

And last thing I wanted to say is for all those achievement points whores out der, if u really lve achievement points that much, with what ive expirienced from Home and all the items u can ulock from games and use them in home to showcase what u got from beating the game, I really think Home is going to bring alot of achievement whores who own only a 360 to buy a ps3 because I can honestly say from unlocking achievements from gears 2 vs unlocking trophys and items and shirts and outfits to use in Home, im having a more satisfying time working for those unlockable items and outfits to use and showcase in my personal home space and home general. I totally agree wit u der HHG, that home is going to be a huge step for the ps3. By the time of the release of home, I am pretty sure custom music and all those features will be implemented in there aswell which will make home for the ps3 better then xbox live. This is just my opinion.

MAG does have potential to steal from the massive Call of Duty Fanbase, that's mostly on 360. However it's going to have to look better and play better, considering how long this game has been in development it may have a fair shot at achieving that. People are going to knock this game if it doesn't have a single player campaign, i hope Zipper is aware of that.

We don't know what the animations look like yet, but with Sony's 1st party history so far this gen, we can assume they will be good, possibly great (if they use what KZ2 used.) Great game play can only get you so far sadly, this game needs to be a looker, and 256 players may keep it from being so.

I've never seen him rap about the console war. Rapping is just a way to express yourself. Even if he did rap about it he would just talk about it with lyrics and rhymes much like Gametrailers/IGN/1UP does but of course without the rapping.

And FInally, Killzone 2 ws supposed to convert 360 owners and sale 1 billion consoles but it did not

So, in closing, if those 3 high profile games failed to sell/convert 360 players to the PS3, why would you think MAG would? Also, though said to be cancelled, if HUXLEY ends up being secretly in development for the 360, then 360 owners wont even care about MAG.

Actually, seeing as the PS3 does not have as many FPS fans as the 360, I dont see MAG even selling better than KZ2.

I just hate and am getting tired of the crap on both sides and now though I am more getting sick of hearing about sonys exclusive. One is hyped, it is supposed to sink the 360, it doesnt, then the next is hyped, said to be a 360 killer, it doesnt live up to tha moniker, then the next, wash rinse repeat. Everytime an exclusive is bnear release we have to keep hearing about it bringing the end of days to the 360, the game is released and does decently, but in no way kills the 360 and this just keeps going on and on, it is getting irritating to hear.

What's funny to me is that people act like they own stock in either MS or Sony. If you really think about it, Sony sucks because its too expensive and 360 sucks because 30% of them are defective. He was right about Home and that you will begin to receive rewards for trophies achieved, and this was before the Home beta came out. Ended up happening. Around that time (between Nov. & Dec.) he did have a few good predictions.

Good job HHG, good show. His show works for people who are busy and can't constantly check up on gaming news, so you get a weekly overview on a Sunday. And he has gotten to GDC and probably more things in the future so he is being recognized.

And I don't see any game from now on ever bringing a bunch of people to one system for the rest of this generation. FF XIII may have been the one, or GT5. It's hard for new IPs to do this, especially when Sony's console is competing so heavily with itself with great titles. MGS4 did great, especially for an MGS game thats in such a niche category.

I may think of getting a ps3 if MAG is good, but it doesn't mean I'll convert to ps3, I'll have both.
but that depends on if the price of ps3 is down by then. Also if they have a revised controller without the messed up L2 and R2 'pedals', if they were more like triggers it would be a lot better IMO. I hate that shooters are defaulted to use R1 as the trigger cause the analog pedal R2.
