You're right, the PS3 lineup is incredible compared to the 360 one. Only things I can think of are:

Halo: ODST
Halo Wars
Mass Effect 2

Mass Effect 2 should be promising, but 3 games isn't a lineup. However, I didn't expect 2008 to have half the games that launched in it, so it could pick up.

BTW: You forgot God of War 3 and Fat Princess.

I said confirmed for 2009 and exclusive. Most of those are PC exclusives at the moment and have never even been shown running on the 360 hardware. Desperation is a funny thing. Maybe you should try adding links for each of the games you listed. Links that confirm that those PC exclusives will be ported to the Xbox 360. Until then, it's a BS line-up.

Pc is not a console.

And they are being developed for the 360, the pc versions are the ports.

The funny thing is, all those games Foxgod listed are Microsoft Exclusive. Sure.. you can get them on the PC, as well as the x360. But, if Sony had something like Windows, wouldn't you expect them to release their titles on both their "Windows" and the PS3?

Just because MS is being smart, sometimes, and releasing games on both of THEIR platforms, you try to discredit them, and the games. The fact is, you can't get those games on the PS3, and most people nowadays don't even have a computer that can run those future games, so it'd be cheaper to get it for the x360 in the first place..

That’s almost all the confirmed PS3 exclusives for 2009. Just remember that both Resistance 2 and Motorstorm 2 where announced in 2008 and came out in 2008, so there will definitely be more announced in 2009.

Legend of Dragoon 2 would also be great. I can remember playing the first one when I was ten.

For all we know Sony could announce games such as Heavenly Sword 2 and Jak and Daxter: TLF for 2010. I think us PS3 owners will feel extremely satisfied by the end of 2009.

Uncharted Waters online is a exclusive game from Koei, A MMO.
Not really my kind of game but I'm sure it will have some fans on the playstation :-) Its very popular in japan.

But this just the start of the list so its normal that a unknown exclusive game is in it, not every game is hyped like Killoze 2 for example :P

Right now I'm looking forward to Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Killzone 2, Infamous, M.A.G, Wardevil, Heavy Rain and GT5 the most in 2009.

Even though Uncharted 2 hasn't been confirmed for 2009 yet, I think it's pretty clear that it's going to be released sometime in Fall 09 because there's already rumors about Uncharted 2 being playable at GDC next year, and if that's the case then I'm sure it'll hit shelves in 09'. Plus, I don't think that Sony would be showing the Uncharted 2 trailer at the SpikeTV Video Game Awards if it wasn't coming next year and I think the same thing goes for GOW3.

GT5 might or might not come out in 2009... GT5 will probably come out in Europe or Japan by the end of 2009 and will probably come to the U.S. early 2010, but I'm going to import early if that's the case.

Like i said hardly moving the software are they. Resistance2 0.70 i mean thats really bad for such a big game. MGS did sell quite well but considering its SONY's biggest exclusive this year it should have done a lot more.
COD sold double on 360... so once again should have sold more and the bigger install base of the 360 doesn't cut it, the gaps not that big.
Sony should be selling more.

3. Uncharted 1.2, huh? you mean GeoW 1.2. You haven't seen any game-play except a teaser trailer. You've seen NOTHING, and if anything, at least there is a change in setting and location, unlike the copy and paste work of GeoW 1.2.

....my PS3 died again. Does anyone know if turning the power off at the mains would cause any issues. I always turn off my ps3 at the back of the console and the mains to stop it being on standby (dont want a large electricity bill), could this maybe mess up the console with constant power surges when i turn it back on. This is twice i have had this problem?any ideas? Its a yellow light that comes on, and then blinks red. Any suggestions and i would be most grateful, thanks in advance.

With a healthy power supply it shouldn't be an issue because the power supply would only output the voltage needed by each component inside of the console.

Getting 2 faulty PSU's would be pretty unlucky and also unlikely given the reliability of the PS3.

I have all my electrical appliances (especially expensive ones like my PC/TV/PS3) plugged into a surge suppressor (as anyone with a brain should) for extra protection.

Shut it off like this... either hold the PS button and choose shutdown system, or go to your profile media bar, and go to the top and choose 'Turn Off'. And when its on stand-by, flip the back-switch off.
