Twilight Princess is the Best Zelda Ever

Twilight Princess is one of the most critically acclaimed Zelda games in history, but is also the one that possibly created one of the most disappointed fan bases in recent memory. Everyone pretty much felt before Twilight Princess came out that this was exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately, for a great many, they were wrong. Apparently, it's true that none of us ever know what we truly want until we get it. However, Nathanial Rumphol-Janc cannot deny as he stands before you today, that Twilight Princess is indeed the best Zelda game ever.

I thought Twilight Princess was pretty much exactly what Zelda is. But that's a problem with a lot of people, they wanted a change like Majora's Mask or Wind Waker.

It's a great game nut even with the Wolf form it seems like it's a "safe" game.

It's honestly my favorite Zelda. I had been a lapsed LoZ player (I was addicted to GTA last gen), so perhaps that's the reason I hold the game in higher regard than others do.

But it IS the best-looking "realistic Zelda," it's got the biggest world to explore, the art direction is fantastic, and it has one of the best (if not the best) plots in the series...which ties in with having the best secondary character the franchise has seen, too.

No Zelda will ever top OoT, simply because it was the first 3D LoZ game. You can only make that leap once (just like I loved playing GTA4, but it didn't wow me the same way GTA3 did), and that sense of amazement can't be had again once you've seen a favorite franchise move from 2D. There's a reason Ocarina influenced so many games -- it's the Citizen Kane of 3D gaming.

That said, I haven't had more fun playing any other game this gen than LoZ:TP.
