Well... I'm sure there will be plenty of flashy CGI.

1.2 - Agreed, Bill Nye and Jenzo ...
... you both made good points.
On the one hand, Michael Bay sure knows how to direct action films, which considering how action packed a game Prince of Persia is, should result in some pretty cool set pieces. When looking at the production art in the article, we could be in for a very exhilarating visual experience.
On the other hand, just look at the films like Pearl Harbor and The Island to look how the story/plot side of things end up. I only bought Pearl Harbor so I could skip straight to the middle of the DVD and experience the awesome surround sound and action. The Island started off well and then ended up in typical Michael Bay action set piece predictability.
Also taking into account the track record of past game based films, I'm gonna deliberately keep my expectations low so that I'm not too disappointed. Hopefully though this will be a film adaptation more akin to Silent Hill than Super Mario Bros. !
But if I see the names, The Rock, Vin Diesel et al, anywhere near this film I'll give up straight away ...

"look at the films like Pearl Harbor"
I don't remember him making a film called Pearl Harbor. I do remember "Love Story That Begins After Pearl Harbor and Drags on for a Freakin Hour" though. Heh.
Better than Uwe Boll, but still meh.
Who wants to take bets the only thing tying the movie to the game at all will be that it will be set in a remotely middle-eastern setting?

Mihcael Bay's films are so full of plotholes...
Well, it can't be worse than Uwe Boll... is it? Maybe wishful thinking...

3 - Every time I hear Michael Bay...
All I can think about is:
"I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark, when he made Pearl Harbor... I miss you more than that movie missed the point, and that's an awful lot, girl!"
