Promising that PS3 is second and with Mirror's edge and Dead Space selling well the numbers will be a little better, but with L4D being basically a 360 console exclusive we may see these same margins. boy they should give up on the Wii though Boom Blocks was an exclusive and they also got Rockband in May (Q2) and all the Sports titles, and still where in last place.

All I'm saying is that when the article was written he didn't have EA's Q2. Did he? Nope, and I really feel sorry for your reading comprehension.
If you actually read the report you would see that for Q1 the revenue was 81mil for the 360 and 139mil for PS3. As for last year's Q4 it was 128mil for 360 and 159mil for PS3. Were these the numbers he had at hand when he wrote the article? Yes, and now I'm really really feeling sorry for your reading comprehension.

True, quality is really improving on the PS3 since the dreaded Orange Box. Before anyone starts getting overboard and starts claiming Dead Space was on PS3 lead meaning the PS3 is better, (happens a lot when Dead Space is mentioned) it was actually 360 lead and was polished beyond polished on the PS3 version.

Before dismissing one article it's better to have all the facts, and to do so, you have to READ the whole thing. When the article was written EA's Q2 wasn't released so it was written with the facts at hand at that time. If you actually took the time to read the report you would see that for Q1 the actual numbers are 81 million for the 360 and 139 million for the PS3. If you look further down, for last year's Q4 you would see 128mil for the 360 and 152 mil for the PS3. So when the article that you are reffering to was written, according to the numbers he had at hand when he wrote it, he was actually right. As far as your local Gamestop, you know there are also people outside the US, don't you?

Oh BTW, it's not a hardware issue but more of a storage capacity issue, nice informing. The game is PC lead being ported over to consoles. The 360 and PS3 can run megatexturing just fine. I doubt you even know what megatexturing is or you just found out what it is and decided that the 360 couldn't run it, either way you're really really ignorant.

Since you fanboys always like saying "I'll play the superior version, which on the PC" when you're talking about 360 games. I'll say the same. I'll play the superior version which is the PC version.

You said megatexturing will hold the 360 back, well, it's the disc size not the megatexturing. Megatexturing is a graphics thing, the game's size is a space thing. See how you mistakenly implied that the 360 was inferior? You said megatexturing would fill up discs which it won't. It'll help on the RAM though, it won't have to process every single one of those textures and just process one big one.

Honestly, if your first post isn't fanboy then I don't know what is. All I did was comment the contrast between prices so if anything, I'm criticizing the price of the PS3, even $50 price drop would increase sales.

Did I once say the PS3 was inferior in there? No. I just think the price is a little overpriced, you get a great machine but with the economy collapsing and holidays coming soon, a price drop could help, even a little one.
