I have never heard of the game until now, looks like another Asian game made for Americans to me. I will look into it later on down the track but for now its outside my radars range.

here it is, 10 MONTHS LATER, and you're now saying the same thing about a "big reveal". so in january, 10 months is considered "soon"?....seriously , who the hell knows what's going on (if anything) with this.

sorry, but i've lost my interest. it's been 5-6 years and this project doesn't seem remotely close to release.

Beavis and I both investigated this game for a LONG while and I van't blame him for getting mighty sick of the chase-we were promised (last new years eve IIRC)something(besides a new working site which has only just appeared with next to no content)in Q1 2009. There were a few Digiguys recruitment ads at the time as well(a mate applied and despite being very well qualified, he's now at R* Leeds, never got a reply)and then nothing at all til a couple of weeks back and we're having behind closed doors stuff?

It's frustrating for those of us who've followed the small bits of drip fed info since 2006 about this game to keep hearing vague "it looks good" stories that we never get the chance to verify. Now they're back to making a multi the 60fps at 1080p sounds even more ambitious and, I suppose, might explain a little of the humongously drawn out dev cycle we've been sitting through.

Us veterans of the wait for Wardevil aere getting a little jaded by all the procratination without explanation and it'll take something like the actual game running as promised AND looking like it has killer gameplay and story to soo us back to being excited. Most people I know gave up on this way, way back and, though I don't like the new look of the hero(helmet and eyes look crap to me), I'd still love to see it triumph but I need lots more than a few fourth hand tales of a bit of the tech working in private to do it.

I had some hype for this game years ago, but with all the games actually coming out that hype went away, now my interest has peaked again, and I'm getting a little more hyped for this game. Show us what it looks like gameplay and graphic wise, and we'll see if it was worth the wait.

It was a multiplatform game at first, but the developer want to make the game on par with the CG movie being released with it @ 1080p 60 fps (another reason why development took so long), and they said they could only be able to achieve that goal on the PS3 which is why it went exclusive.

there is something wrong in here
the xbox cant handel 1080P and 60 fps at the same time
there is like 3 or 4 games that run on 1080i
but never heard of a 360 game that runs in 1080P and 60fps

and i dont know this game well be the same i think

Thats not true at all the 360 has several 1080p native games. That is PS3 fan misinformation made up to bash the console.

NBA Street Homecourt & Virtual Tennis 3 There are some other games but I'm not going to hunt them down, there is some more Arcade titles that run 1080p native as well.

It's just a myth made up by pro Sony loyalist based on MSFT wanting games running in 720p because you can add more detail in games in 720p with more power reserved for other things besides graphics making games a better experience.

Could you imagine more 1080p games from more developers? the PS3 has a hard enough time matching the resolution of the 360 as it is.

On 360 that's the max, but on PS3 you can get up to 120Hz if you have the TV to do it and the game is programmed for that. HDMI 1.3a baby.

Anyway, don't believe me, Sony already demoed GT5 in glorious 2160p (!!!!) and 240Hz (!!!) running on 4 PS3s @ the same time (they used a special projector they recently developed). If you do the math, a PS3 alone could run it in 2160p@60Hz, or 1080p@240Hz, theoretically. That is, unless there's some sort of synergy between PS3s.

Controls? Do you need 60fps to have a good control scheme?

wait till you see the game in action. All we've really seen are pre-rendered trailers and teasers over the last few years. When the Digi-Guys finally show off the game running in real-time we'll be able to make a better judgment.

The engine is optimized for the PS3, hence the 1080 visuals, I'd be really surprised if it could run on 360 - the architecture is just too different for such an advanced engine.
