Honestly, this game isn't even on my radar. After playing the Lost Planet 2 demo on PSN, its lookin to be the best co-op shooter ever, next to Left 4 Dead of course.

But really, coming from a PS3 owner, it doesn't look good.

A little bit too much analysis over this early demo.

"Why is the AI stupid??", it's something that can always be worked on. Some games like to still ship with dumb AI, but hey..that gets ignored depending on how fun the game is.

"Why is the turret still shooting me when I'm behind cover?? Why am I shooting back at them??? What's going on??? Why is there random violence???"

Dude, since there was a staff guy standing right there telling you what to do in the demo, why didn't you ask him this stuff? Oh..because he would've said "it's a demo, it's not the full game yet so be patient and wait for the full game". But that would've been too easy.

I get what you're trying to do, Ghostie, but to be honest it comes off a little strange. Anyway, Quantum Theory will most likely not be part of my growing PS3 library. The art design and what little gameplay they've shown are simply too generic to be interesting.

It's okay that the PS3 doesn't have Gears. Do like me and buy Uncharted 2 in two weeks. Just don't bank on Quantum being awesome. Maybe Tecmo will prove me wrong, but from the footage so far, they've got a lot of work ahead of them if this game is to be anything but average.

Tecmo is certainly not taking advantage of PS3 hardware from what I've seen. True PS3 exclusives always have that "touch" to them that tell you "yeah, this can't be done on 360", and I don't get that instinct from this game at all.I agree that this is certainly "inspired" by Gears, so yeah it would get noticed more as a PS3 exclusive, but it would also port easily to 360 and still sell well since it is a shooter and we all know that's all the 360 fanbase ever plays.

So 1) Tecmo has a very low budget and won't be able to do anything technically fancy or 2) They plan on doing a quick and dirty port to 360.

Maybe there will be some videos later in the future that change my mind, but for now that is how I stand.

My sentiments exactly. This game went from "meh" to "OOhh pretty cool" to "meh" again after the recent videos.

I don't know... for some reason it's just lacking a sense of polish that's in other real PS3 exclusives. It doesn't look complete.

I also don't like how the enemy characters explode into bits and disappear into thin air. I prefer Gears where you shoot down a guy and there's a big heavy bulk of meat lying dead.

Oh well, I'm going to guess this game will receive a 6/10, 7/10 and maybe the highest an 8/10 once the reviews roll in.

And Saaak, Forza is a racing sim, as is GT5, its a racing sim, it really vary that much..

Quantum and Gears on the other hand are third person shooters, the variation in that is insane, and how much this game looks like a cheap clone of Gears is insane.
