IGN TGS 2008: Valkyrie Profile DS Hands-on

IGN writes: "One of the most impressive games being shown at Square Enix's TGS booth this year is Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One for DS. Not a port of the original PlayStation role-playing title, this is a turn-based strategy game that has a pretty interesting approach to its battle mechanics.

The playing field is divided into tiles, as is to be expected. What is unique here is that when attacking, any adjacent characters will join in on the fun. This goes for characters adjacent to your current soldier or the attacked enemy. So everyone can attack many times within a turn. The system is similar to that of Disgaea but Valkyrie Profile takes it even further."
