9 - This was originally slated for the 360 as well...
...until Intel bought the dev, and decided to make the WHOLE GAME into a tech demo. I think this will end up being a launch title for the next XBOX, with an earlier release for PC.

I wonder if it will run on nVidia and ATI cards. I would expect this to run better on Larabee but then again I wouldn't be surprised if somebody makes it run better on a competitor's card. Like what happened with ATI and nVidia around the FX series of cards when nVidia released a tech demo that ran better on ATI hardware. Haha.

Sort of, you have to remember this is Intel, aka the Havok people, they've got people doing dedicated work designing physics and AI engines, if this is a tech demo, it's going to be a damn good one because of the huge focus on so many things.

I hope Intel will license the Offset engine out to game developers like they do with the Havok. I so can't wait to play Project Offset. Plus the Meteor effects look great. So I have high hopes the game is going to be a blast.

I hardly could play Crisis when it came out I really mean that and already my PC feels out of date. So I think when Project Offset comes out I will wait some time so the tech can come down in price then I can play the game.

There is no need for me to update right when the game comes. So I will wait a little then play the game. Because Its not like if I wait the game is going to go away.

I don't know for some reason to me this doesn't look as good as the original trailers they first put out for the game. From this video alone Crysis looks better IMO. In the first ones I saw no game came close to the graphics this game was putting out.

Project Offset is to be a First Person/Third person Shooter game. Set in a Fantasy World. There are other great Project Offset videos on Gametrailers too. They may be old but they are still cool to look at and get a taste of what the game will look like.

For a tech demo I have to say it was a bit disappointing, Crysis looks a fair amount better than this and that is a full game, this is a tech demo that SHOULD show off the game at just about it's absolute best considering there aren't any real variables to weigh the graphics down.

Will say that there are some console games that look better than this too(IMO).
