GRTV: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine interview

Well, it's not an interview with an actual space marine, but Gamereactor caught up with Chad McFarlin outside the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine booth at E3 to talk about Relic Entertainment's next big console title.

1 - I hope they do this right
I used to play Warhammer 40k back in the day. I did it all, collected as many armies as possible, pained them, made scenery, you name it. I still have most of my armies packed away in boxes. Just not enough time for this hobby anymore.
There is so much history and backstory here. I hope they really focus on getting the feel of the universe and do this game right.

2 - I agree
Warhammer 40k is one of the best universes out there, the only problem is that Gamesworkshop is wasting it. The hobby is overpriced, which is one reason I stopped playing, and i'm been playing since 2nd edition.

I hope they don't milk the game like the madden series, Downloadable content is the way to go as long as they keep the pricing fair. I believe it would have to support customization of armies, especially for marine players. I don't know about the rest of the 40k community but i'm sick of ultramarines.

2.1 - Pretty funny
2nd edition is where I stopped playing too. I think it became all about the money to GW after 2nd edition.
Ditton on the Ultramarines. Hopefully this will feature an unheardof chapter based on Blood Angels.
