GameSpy E3 2009: Sin and Punishment 2 Hands-on

GameSpy writes: "In this hemisphere, shoot-'em-up developer Treasure's known primarily for gems like Ikaruga and Gradius V. But a couple of years ago another Treasure game -- a third-person rail shooter called Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Earth, previously only available in Japan during its Nintendo 64 heyday -- hit the U.S.' Wii Virtual Console waves. The premise is simple: Fire at enemies, dodge bullets, and fly around in dazzling-for-their-time environments."

Spiffy:
+Treasure's next hardcore shmup should make challenge-seeking gamers happy...

Iffy:
-...and it should make everyone else want to break their controllers.
