This looks more of a sequle to FF11 rather than a real new game. Especially how it is being released the same year as 13. At first I thought FF13 versus was being renamed as 14 then I saw the tag of it being online. That made me think it might be another FF11 online only type of game.

I do hope its not an MMO like FFXI, I dont have the time to sink 1000s of hours into an MMO.

We know the games online but I would like to see a more casual experience with more emphasis on story and not lvl grinding/uber item bragging rights.

Alternativly I would like a single player game with the online element more of a co-op, rather than an online only game.

Still it will be very interesting to see where this goes.

I bet anything this deal was done before last years E3. Sony had to pretend to eat crow this past year when in reality they decided to trade off FF13 exclusvity for FF14 exclusivity. Also it looks like they did a similar deal with rockstar and now its come back to bite microsoft in the ass.

I am not excited about FFXIII after seeing the demo. But I am very excited for FFIV because if anyone is going to make a proper MMORPG, Square-enix has the capability to do it. And the characters aren't weird cross dressers, FINALLY. It looks semi-serious. Hopefully it stays that way.

Played FFXI for 6 years. This games announcement made me explode in my pants 7 different ways.

I knew there was a new FF MMO that was going to be unveiled at E3, but the fact it's the same universe as XI just blew my mind. I can't wait to make a new Tarutaru and get treading through the new vana'diel in 2010. I hope they have a beta later this year, because I will do all I can to get into it. :)

ff14 looks like the next mmo so i dont expect it to be exclusive to ps3 I think they will go ps3 and PC. If they dont I can see it being something legal becfause ff11 is on xbox and pc, and this game seems like a clever way to get the ps3 money.

Pretty good show, the PSP i think stole a huge chunk of hype for the conference. I'm looking forward to what else will be revealed in the coming months.

Project Natal was running in real-time. IGN had a page stating that they USED it and it worked JUST like it was shown :). Have fun playing with your wand. I'll be using a extremely powerful camera that recognizes face, voice, body, and a lot of other things. It will also let me control the entire Xbox with it. I don't need a wand to make sh*t work. Everyone is agreeing that that thing looks piss poor, dude.

Also, Forza Motorsport 2 has scored higher than Gran Turismo 4: Prologue, Gran Turismo 4, AND Gran Turismo 5. So how exactly are you saying it's better? Sales?

Oh, Final Fantasy XIV: Online is on PC as well. That's a given.

Everything shown at MS E3'09 was actually running unless it was a trailer such as Crackdown 2 or Left 4 Dead 2. All of the Forza Motorsport 3 stuff was showing actual gameplay, and it only took 2 years to get there. And I honestly bet it's going to have a higher score and more praise from critics than Gran Turismo 5. Even the Alan Wake trailer (Which looks better than anything on a console so far) was running on the 360, IN-GAME.

I must admit alan wake and SCC demoed really well but lets be honest they werent getting the headlines yesterday however Metal gear rising (mulitplatform confirmed) was.

Sony just showed the best it had to offer and piled on top even more whilst microsoft yet again just went the me too route "with metal gear solid our platform is complete".

The FACT is the only new game announced for 2009 exclusive to 360 is L4D2. Microsoft didnt win sh!t.

FF11 rocked extremely hard. However, it was too hardcore so people left to join WOW which was more casual.
