Oh man I loved Wipeout HD. I'd take a new game or even just new tracks, but assuming the Twitter is at all accurate it will be on PS3 rather than PSP. The HD is a dead giveaway.

The game is perfect. It needs to be added to thats all everything is well presented and stylish. Only thing is if they have surpassed the visuals in the game and have a new engine in place. That would be ridiculously great but not really necessary the game looks really good right now.

..could be DLC, it's about time

they should make a bunch of DLC for the game, and then release a BD version with all the DLC included.. get the game out to as many people as possible to get the online bustling again

I hope it is DLC.
WipeOut HD does not need a sequel.. it just needs additions.

6.1 - Totally agree...
I wouldn't buy a new Wipeout yet. They better release some massive DLC for the one already out there. New maps, modes and ships would be great...

yet at the same time, I don't. If they put Wipeout on Bluray I'll be looking for the 1st Sony employee to high five, then tell them to get back to work on my game. Wipeout deserves a full release. I'm content with dlc but...

a completely new racing tile would be great and wider tracks so everyone can play, not just the hardcore lol

9.1 - But it would not be Wipeout with wider tracks.
If you had wide tracks, you would never gain the same skill used by the hardcore. Wipeout in all of it's speed and sleek tracks is exactly what Wipeout is supposed to be. Crazy addictive, crazy fast, and crazy fun!

The one thing they could do is add a track editor. That way, you could make some wide tracks but keep the core game as it is.

How much wider do you need them to be? HD offers the widest tracks in the history of the franchise bruh.

@SL1M- Speak on it

Not to be a downer but I was wanting SCE Studio Liverpool AKA Psygnosis
to make a new Colony Wars game after WipeOut. WipeOut is a good game but I really want a new Colony Wars more. Plus I could see it looking really great on the PS3. I so want the space sim shooter genre to come back and a new Colony Wars game could really be a great way to give new life to that genre.

Wish they'd re-do the very first PS1 WIPEOUT in HD. Maybe as DLC for the existing game, which is sublime!

...I really have to play this game again!

WipEout HD was one of my favorite games, it really is a great deal at $20... I think it was Zico that really drew me away... I couldn't get that freaking trophy!
