Well anyway I know that whenI saw the vid, Im not gonna lie it wasnt the best graphics Ive seen, but it was much much higher than decent/mediocre graphics, and I really liked the scenery, I love the fact that this was ONLY a tech demo, and the vid being released near E3 was JUST coincidental, wow I got pretty hyped, come on 7 MORE DAAAYS!!!!!!!

however, i am not sure weather their information correct due to the fact that there are a lot of things missing in the video such as why the beast wounded? why he is unleashed? why he came to the boy? and much more ....

so still there are mysteries behind the story and i do not think it is a part of a technical trial!

but what the hell E3 is on the way anyways :)

You're kinda exaggerating a bit... I know the game's from team ICO but they didn't present anything that Disney haven't done yet. A boy showing love to his new pet that then is it attacked because it is different/dangerous? That's cliched.

All I can say is my eyes watered up first time i saw the trailer-- whether its the symbols, the memory of the last games, the scene itself or some sort of enchantment, to disagree with someones comment and to try to get everyone else to accept your cliched trite explanation for this video....

as a film it may have been done by disney (and also be quite cliched), but even disney have yet to pull the same idea into a game. i dont think any game has attempted something like this the previous generation probably couldnt handle the ai.

if anything this game is going to definately be something special.

Honestly if the game ships the way it looks in the trailers then great. The art style and atmosphere it generates is amazing. Not all games have to be technically a 10 in graphics to be considered a great looking game. Playing Demon's Souls right now which looks great, not technically but artistically and fits the mood of the game amazingly well. "TRICO" will be another great game from a Dev synonymous with quality.

We've got a dozen awesome games to look forward to, and you've got another Halo spin off and then XB720 to look forward to.

You see people in here just talking about game they want and a dev they love and you cant stand it because it has nothing to do with you.

Don't be too jealous man, your childlike mentality wouldn't appreciate this game anyway, so really as far as you know you're not missing that much.

For those in the know but, with an emotion age beyond puberty this will likely be a defining game in this generation, just like Ico and SotC were, and still stand up today.

Hate all you like, its your loss.

At least when we get excited over a screen shot its a PS3 screen shot, not a 1600x1400 PC screen like Alan Wake which the XB will never match. I mean, they've been going on for years over AW and Splinter Cell and they've seen nothing running on XB hardware. At least Trico has a trailer, an old one at that, and we're all happy with what we've seen. For some reason that just upsets people like this.

That is a bit tricky to explain cause tastes are tates, but it is like good piece of music or like an awesome movie. In the former case even if you only like Rock or latin music you should be able to understand what means a Bethoven, if you arent you should shut up cause you will sound stupid. In the second case, you may like action Hollywood movie but then you have Stanley Kubrick's classics productions, it doesnt matter if you dont like them, they are classics.

Team Ico's games are just classics. You can enjoy your regular shooter but if you want something else, go and play SotC.

No Darren Waters the BBC reporter saw a totally different game. He saw something last year. This ICO footage was from back in about November 07'....It has already been confirmed that the BBC game was not heavy rain or the TEAM ICO game...

The BBC game will mostly likely come from either Sony London or Liverpool studios...

Nope, never played "Flower". That said, I try to have an open mind about motion controls considering that they DID work quite well in "Warhawk", but sadly no game I've played with motion controls since then has worked (I especially despised the frustrating and unnecessary motion based grenade throwing mechanic in "Drake's Fortune").
