1.4 - I couldn't help but think how futile this article is

As I'm reading it I can't help but think that there is a slight spin going on. The author left games off of the Sony list then mention then later in the article as though you should have listed them, but decided not to because it made your argument weaker.

Not only that, but things are going to happen at this year E3 that are going to change things around. MS is sure to confirm a number of exclusives for this year. However, that does really matter. Like the author stated, six of the exclusive title on the 360 list have already been released this year. Yet they have all failed to make any kind of impact and their quality is, at best, arguable.

The question here is not of quantity, but of quality. The titles listed for the 360 are questionable at the moment. Even with Ninety Nine Night 2, having Mistwalker on it doesn't mean anything. They have yet to prove themselves. Lost Odyssey had phenomenal story telling but bland, uninspired, gameplay.

Also the importance of new franchises is incredibly overlooked and even brushed aside. The new IP's being released now will be the flagship titles of the future. Be that for MS or Sony.

The article is definitely the best I have read from HiopHopGamer. However, it seems that the author started out trying to prove that the 360 was going to have the better year instead of looking equally at what Sony and MS are offering then drawing a conclusion.

If this is something that the site is going to continue doing, then I think they're heading in the right direction. I can't wait to sink my teeth into the next installment of this series.

I see that judging by all the PS3 fans in here bashing and reporting the story. Everybody know Microsoft is planning a blowout because of the revitalization of E3. PS3 is in last place and I guess any speculation thats positive towards the 360 is always spam and garbage yet thats all you see in the case of the PS3. YTu have XBL services and features, games and much more being talked about in two weeks.

You guys do this every year claiming Sony has it all because of the way Sony is cornered hyping all their stuff and yet the 360 always comes out on top.

I getting tired of you fluffing the 360's line up. The 360 has a solid lineup this year, yet every time you list its exclusive titles you list game that are either unannounced, unknown, or are not even guaranteed to come out this year.

Expansion packs are not full games no mater how you cut it. All the sequels on the PS3 list have brand new engines and every thing about them is new. Not some cheap way for developers to make some quick cash.

Many of the comments, opposing this article, show one of two things: either the readers didn’t properly read the article, or they didn’t understand the message. Either way, I obviously need to clarify the confusion.

First, Ninja Blade was announced six months ago. Yes, Microsoft does announce titles six months before release.

Second, if you still believe that Forza 3 will not be coming despite all the evidence provided including the fact that they already built the engine for the franchise and that it takes less than two years to make a sequel, then I suggest you read the forza section more carefully. If you still are not convinced, then only E3 will prove to you that I’m right about this.

Thrid, Dead Rising 2 and Lost Planet 2 have not been confirmed for 2010.You need to go back to the Dead Rising 2 section and read the correction the Capcom’s US communications Director made regarding this misunderstanding. Furthermore, announcing Dead Rising 2 as a multiplatform title does not guarantee that it will remain exclusive-free. We know how this business operates, and we’ve seen multiplats convert to exclusives.

Fourth, I did not spin facts at all. I simply stated the facts that are available to us. I was trying to be as fair as possible to both the Xbox 360 and the PS3. the titles i did not include on both the Xbox 360 and Ps3 lists were not included for very good reasons.

Fifth, having mixed reviews does not change the fact that these games are enjoyable. I never stated in this article that I plan on including only the AAA titles. I included all titles ranging from good to great. A title does not have to be a AAA one to be on either list. Cross Edge is an exapmle of a title on the PS3 that is not a AAA title nor did it perform well in Japan. Ninja Blade, Stoked, and Race Pro are all solid games and good exclusives.

Sixth, I distinctly stated that all the titles to mentioned on both lists must be worldwide releases, so why are you asking me to include Final Fantasy XIII? The fact that the N3 sequel has only been announced for the Japan, so far, is the only reason for me to not include it on the 360 list.

Seventh, there were titles on the PS3 list that might not make it this year. However, despite making an argument about why they won’t be coming out this year, I kept them on the list because they have not been officially delayed.

Eighth, MAG being announced as coming out this year does not guarantee that it will. We’ve seen throughout the years the trend of announcing a release date and then delaying. MAG is a perfect candidate for a delay because of it’s size and complexity. After all, it is a MMOFPS.

Ninth, My article is not finished. In fact, your final verdict must wait til next Saturday. The titles that are confirmed for 2009 are the ones on the list. However, everything that followed was a detailed analysis of the information provided. I am not confirming Alan Wake for 2009, neither am I confirming Lost Planet 2 as a timed-exclusive. I am simply stating that beyond the list of the 360 titles there are a lot of potential exclusives that are highly possible to materialize in 2009, and I am simply sharing them.

Tenth, any information I am providing about the titles presented in this article are solid.

Lastly, all I ask is that you present your final verdict at the end of the article rather than present it on the first chapter. Remember there seven more chapters to go, and I'm just warming up.

2009 spells the beginning of Xbox 360's demise. It's blatantly obvious that this article is either done in satirical humor or the writer of this article is a complete dolt.

Only PLAYSTATION®3 provides gamers with an ecosystem built by the gamers, and for the gamers. Dark Sniper is the spectrum of truth and statue of fact, and he can honestly say with every ounce of energy in his body that Xbox 360 is worth nothing more than cow excrement. PLAYSTATION®3 gives you nothing but AAA titles complete with a vast lineup of Blu-Ray movies and unique PlayStation Network titles.

Xbox 360's joke lineup of games this year barely even exists. Not even the most loyal Microslave can give you an honest assessment of what's to come for Microsoft's endangered machine. Even the article that this person wrote was filled with speculation and hypothetical statements.

There's no way to avoid it. Xbox 360's irksome 2009 lineup is laughable and if you really want to take a quantum leap forward in exercising your full potential for interactive enjoyment, PLAYSTATION®3 is the way to go.

Dark Sniper would rather play true AAA blockbuster exclusives rather than waiting for downloadable content that holds no merit when compared to what Sony brings to Dark Sniper's living room.

2009 not gonna happen for the 360 seriously. Alan wake still vaporware and its on the pc so its not exclusive. Lost planet 2 is gonna be announced for ps3 why would capcom not bring it to ps3. Halo odst im sorry just cause they are gonna release another 20mil advertising campaign doesnt make it good. Since when does dlc count for actual games. Rare im sorry but they have lost all there talent banjo floppie. Magna carta 2 im sorry i just laughed there the first 1 wasnt top notch.
