How Gordon Ramsay is helping to kill videogaming

The announcement of Hell's Kitchen: The Game continues the gaming industry's downward charge into easy to make, easy to sell casual games. This is not the way forward.

1 - Please... Please.. don't bring Gordon and the likes of him onto our gaming sites..
This is one step away from discussions about Big Brother and it's impact on gaming..

Nowhere near as bad as Smarties Meltdown or Crazy Frog Racer.

On the flip side, it's probably not going to be nearly as good as the 7-Up Spot game

They'll make it and unfortunately it will sell. Then the press will complain about poor TV game tie ins and they will do it all over again because it is easy money. If Ubisoft doesn't do it then EA or Activision would step in and do it... can't let that money just go untaken.

Just don't buy it. Simple enough, they'll get the message. They'll buy the game, get bored of it, it goes on Ebay within a week or so.

9 - Right.
Weak attempt at creating artificial panic.

"easy to make, easy to sell casual games". This will NOT sell at all. There will always be people trying to cash in on whatever's hot. They will FAIL.

Expect this game in the bargain bin a month after it's release.

Think of this: There isn't a single cooking simulator out there. The closest thing to the Food Network is Cooking Mama.. :S

If this game is done properly, it could be the next Tiger Woods.. Remember when everyone thought how much of a sell out that game would be? Then we played it, and it was amazing.

If anything, it's close-minded gamers that are bringing down our industry; certainly not Gordon Ramsay. I will definitely wait for reviews before running out to buy it, but I absolutely haven't ruled it out as a potential purchase.
