Jobe says Warhawk platinum trophy needs no purchased DLC

Dylan Jobe reiterated some points PS3Fanboy touched on previously, but also had a very strong statement that is sure to please Warhawk fans: "To earn the Warhawk Platinum Trophy, all you have to do is unlock the base game's 44 Trophies...you do *NOT* have to buy any DLC to unlock the Platinum Warhawk Trophy. Forcing players to buy our DLC would be super-craptastic and completely unacceptable." That should calm all you hardcore Warhawk players.

There is no Plat trophy for small dl games like Stardust HD. So his comments have nothing to do with Stardust HD. But kodus to Dylan and Incog again. Great game and great guys.

Warhawk has 4 trophies per expansion pack - you just don't need these to get the platinum. Super stardust didn't have a platinum as it's just a small downloadable title. Warhawk is a bigger game, but still downloadable, so I suspect the platinum trophy will have a smaller exp boost than a full-priced blu-ray title.

The game already has medals, but Incognito are going to use these for trophies, and they'll be retroactive, since it's online.

I don't think the medals are the trophies, just that some of your stats will be used to retroactively assign you trophies. And there will be things that are new which the game will not have recored you doing, e.g. kill 5 people in a row with just a pistol, let's say that was a trophy. The game won't have recorded that you've done that in the past, because it doesn't record _everybody_ you've killed, at which time, and with what weapon. So some things you'll have to earn new, and others will be retroactive.

Also I swear no one used the term "retroactive" before we used it for trophies.. hmm...
