The day for some Square Enix News and Surprises

This E3 2008 will start from 14th to the 17th of july with two big conferences from Sony and Square Enix. This year the show is back to the Los Angeles Convetion Center, and we expect for some good news for the Line-UP UNSEEN game like FINAL FANTASY XIII and Kingdom Hearts : Birth By Sleep.

This sleeping around greatest Title from Square-Enix will indicate some surprising announcement like a remake of FF VII ? We sincerly hope, but We don't know.

I believe on Monday it starts at 1pm EST and then the other days the times vary. I'm sure on Monday's shows they will mention the schedule a number of times.

"Only on PLAYSTATION 3". They said no Final Fantasy titles will be released on 360 aside from XI in June 2007. :)

Get over that .....

On wikipedia:

"On June 19, a Square Enix Representative confirmed that Final Fantasy XIII would be appearing at E3 2008. The representative also suggested that a release date may be announced during 2008 [26]."

Another Final Fantasy game aside from XI on the Xbox 360 will only be possible in your dreams, so dream on.

Final Fantasy XIII will require more power than what the entire 360 is even capable of. Just 3 measely cores in the 360 just doesn't cut it.

If MGS4 filled up a 50GB Dual-layer Blu-ray, I can't even imagine how big FFXIII will be and a 360 version of FFXIII would probably come on like, 10 DVD-9's for Christs sake and would be so downscaled it would be just plain embarrassing for the 360.

If FF XIII shows itself in someway..it's gonna be in the square-enix private show...FF dissidia maybe could be at E3 in a demo or cinematic + gameplay videos....but FF XIII I don't think so

If SquareEnix does indeed announce a FFVII remake on the PS3, it could possibly be the biggest announcement of the ENTIRE SHOW.

There's just SO many awesome games and things that could be shown at E3 for the PS3, it makes my head spin just thinking about it: Twisted Metal, Naughty Dog PS3 project, Team ICO PS3 project, FFXIII, GT5, White Knight Chronicles, Dark Cloud 3, Wardevil, Infamous.... wow, it's good to be a PS3 owner right about now.

Those games you mentioned are only the tip of the ice berg, i mean you missed, Incognitos new project, FFV13, God Of War3, Heavenly Sword 2, new R&C game, Kingdom Hearts 3 and the Rockstar Exclusive. Not to mention the MMOs in development (The Agency anyone?), plus all the online stuff, including the online movie store, online music store, Home and the new PSN games coming up. I'm also looking forward to the PSP integration with the PS3. It is indeed a good time to be a ps3 owner.

He said nothing against the 360, but you naturally assume he is dissing it, i'm a PS3/Wii/PC gamer but i will now please you by saying.....
Too human looks great, Fable 2 is the only reason i will buy a 360, GeOW2 looks gritter than ever, Halo Wars looks OK (hope they port to PC) NG2 was good, Alan Wake looks promising, and there obviously many more for both sides but come on if Aclay (like myself) prefers the PS3 and writes about it and doesn't mention the 360, this doesn't mean anything at all (it could have but im guessing not) so just chill and i would like to finish by saying...................
It's good to be a multi-platform owner.

On Topic: If Square does indeed remake FFVII then i will play through it (i'm ashamed to admit i have not played any FF game, even though i am a huge gamer and RPG fan, i have no idea why just never got around to playing them), come on square not everyone played the game back in the day. I have resently bought the PSP crisis core and will that tonight.

I think Crisis Core is the best RPG released this year so far, it’s an enjoyable ride and I have a feeling they will use the same fighting engine (that’s a good thing) in either FF13 or Vs13. Enjoy it, the side missions alone could take more than 20 hours.

13 wasn't being delayed, just versus 13...

There was actually an article out the other day (sorry, lost the link) that talked about how all the resources for Vs. XIII were being used up to finish off Advent Children: Complete and to work on a "special project", which I am led to believe is the remake of VII. So, hopefully if that is correct we should see/hear evidence of that quite shortly.

This is bad news for Sony to see FFXIII coming to the 360 but I will get over it.
The only thing I wonder is what RPGs does Sony have left.

I'm losing my respect for square now, for 2 years they ranted that ff Xiii was ps3 exclusive, but now this announcing that XIII will be coming to 360 as well. I don't have anything against 360, but this rant is against square. I really liked square because of their loyalty, when they moved from Nintendo to PS they still made games that were exclusives to Nintendo, and would make less games for PS, but main ff series games would come on PS. But come along 2008, this all changed about square. from the day FF13 was announced till today, it was mentioned as an exclusive on the PS3 and would release on the ps3 as well, but now they are just discarding the ps3. I'm still hoping that this is a mistake and not true because i'll not take the word of Yoichi Wada and would believe either the producer or director says its true. (Yoshinari Kitase or Motomu Toriyama) my fingers are still crossed for 13 being exclusive to ps3
