Top 10 Exclusives We'd Steal For the 360 @ E3 '08 (XboxOZ360)

Here at XboxOZ we're gamers first. And so when we see a great exclusive on another platform we can't help but notice. However, our preference for gaming happens to be the 360, so we've devised a list of the exclusive titles we'd most like to see come across to our platform of choice at E3 '08.

So in the spirit of a bit fun and a lot of wishful thinking, here are our picks for the exclusives on the Wii, PS3 and PC that we'd most like to see magically announced for the 360 at this year's E3.

Seems to me that E3 is at the the top of the top 10 times to do top 10 lists for the top 10 game websites as well! So the site is in good company.

E3 is about projecting into the future and getting excited about games and with the downgrading of E3 these sorts of lists get me more excited and remind me there are some great games that we might find out more about. I hope we get Wolfenstein details! An open world Wolfenstein...interesting....

You're right, but that's the entire point of the article. Their praising games on other platforms and admitting their own wishful thinking. The only difference between them and you is that they're infinitely more mature and civil in their ability to praise games on other platforms

Before calling them "losers" did you actually read the remarkably mature praise they gave Uncharted despite in being on another system?

If they want all of this games why on earth did they buy X360, I mean PS3 or PC would have been a better choice. It's not that you had to make MGS4 6 DVDs you would have to get rid of HDR and still have installs. GOW was desperate, you see Bungie created Halo, MS bought Bungie, GOW was created by Sony. And Uncharted even, if Naughty Dog was not Sony subsidiary the IP belongs to Sony. FFXIII is another good one, all the crew who are working on it say PS3 is the best and a game this big costs to much to develop, porting it is not an option making a new one is to pricey

I'm sure the PS3 would like some Microsoft games too. My ideal would be only to have to buy one console to get all the good games....since that isn't possible I've had to pay too much getting both PS3 and 360!

Why? It's essentially an article that's taking the gentle mickey out of itself and acknowledging how great games are on other platforms.

I think that's pretty cool actually, and more N4G users could learn from these guys. Check out their reviews and they gave MGS4 their highest ever score of 9.9/10, despite being a 360 site!

A bit of fun never hurt anyone. Haven't you ever wished a cool game from another console (or PC for that matter) gets released on your console of choice? I have a PSP and lately all cool games (bar God of War) are going to DS. So I always wish that some more games were on PSP.

Some Sony site should have fun and do a Top 10 360 games they would like on the PS3. I'm sure there would be plenty if people were honest.

It would be good for PSN too. They could translate the achievement-like things into achievements or trophies, too. You can already use voice chat by connecting your ps3 or 360 to the tv,joining a chat or COD4 (there's someway to talk to multiple people) and then plugging to wii into the video jack and leaving the ps3 or 360's plug in the audio jack. You probably knew that though, because it was an article on this site a month or two ago involving mario kart. (^-^)--b

the secret game is prolly gonna be god of war 3. there was an article a few days ago that showed release dates and it said GOW3 was gonna be released 3/2/09. if that was true and with a release date that close theyre gonna show something about it at e3, but more LA noire info wouldnt hurt either. this years lineup definitly interests me and im plannin on picking up a ps3 around september cuz thats when ill be dorming :)

IMO the variety is the real strenght of the vg market.
I would like to see great exclusives for PS3, 360 and Wii.

kojima already did say that 360 was capable of running it, so that's not in dispute, and it was reported many times that it was not fully using a blu ray disc, and that the game's running at a sub hd rez, so far that's leading a lot of the media and the press into sceptical thoughts.

MGS4 PS3 only - Kojima has stated this forever (and with the amount of Playstation jokes - would require a complete rewrite)

Uncharted - publisher is Sony
LBP - publisher is Sony...

that means the above titles are as likely as fable hitting the ps3

GOW3 - even less likely as it is a Sony studio even

I'll admit I really like these guys as they can recognize great games on all systems. I've seen so many of these lists around the internet that it is all getting a little bland... but people reporting this article and sh!t is just stupid. You wanna report something... go report all the ridiculous flamebait articles that somehow always get approved!

Now regarding the list I wouldn't exactly agree with what place some titles came in... but it's their opinion so I won't comment on that. I do however feel that FFXIII has even less of a chance at making it to the 360 than MGS4. Yes, Square-Enix has been 'showing some love' to those outside of Sony... but take a look at what they've done with the Final Fantasy series. No high profile titles in the series have gone multiplatform. The Wii gets Crystal Chronicles and all those 'lesser' Final Fantasy games while the 360 got XI... which was again not a REAL Final Fantasy. I really don't believe anyone but Sony's going to see those as the series has really become synonymous with Playstation consoles.

I understand this list is all in fun though. They just seemed a little more hopeful for that one and I think it's one of the more unlikely (besides the stuff that's actually developed by Sony studios or published by them).

The MGS4 on 360 statements just never seem to go away even though MGS4 has been confirmed a PS3 exclusive eons ago. It's just funny how so many Xbox 360 fanboys make fun of MGS4 being a "movie" but if they heard that it was coming to the 360, they would be pissing in their pants like little 3 year olds.

It's obvious that they want a PS3 because they had 5 PS3 exclusive games on that list out of 10 games.

MGS4 has done well to have sold 2-3 million copies within just the first month, and by the end of this year, I would expect that MGS4 will have sold at least 4-5 million copies. As far as I'm concerned, Konami probably already has profited from MGS4 with just 2-3 million copies of MGS4 sold because there were limited edition copies of MGS4 selling for $84.99 in the U.S. and around the world, plus there were the standard editions.

Let's just say that MGS4 has sold 2.5 million units sold with just the standard $59.99 editions. When you do the math, Konami will have made: $149,975,000 on just 2.5 million units sold of the standard editions at $59.99, but of course we all know that there were tons of Special Editions sold at $84.99, so they have made even more money than that. I'm not sure if Konami actually get's all of the profit because retailers must be getting something from sales as well, but even if Konami get's half of the $149,975,000, they will have profited. It's not like MGS4 hasn't even gone platinum yet and Konami "has" to do a port because that's not the case, MGS4 is staying on the PS3 without a doubt. If by some miracle MGS4 does come to the 360, then Splinter Cell Conviction will be coming to the PS3, period.

And all of the PS3 games they listed couldn't even run on the Xbox 360 in the current state that they are in on the PS3.

There's nothing wrong with liking another console, it boils down to personal preference. I myself own a Wii and an Xbox 360, the Wii gathers dust I feel like selling it, simply because I've only bought games for the 360 and the novelty wore off for the Wii.

XboxOZ isn't a bad site-just because they have xbox in their website's name doesn't mean they should be associated with being an extremely fanboy website (there are enough of those anyways)

i think it would be great if a pro-ps3 site released a list (note to all of the ps3 super-fans:don't be d*cks and say "haha bot there's no gamez the pstripple needs from that RRoD xbug!!!" because you know it's not true, AND it would be completely unnecessary)

but yea, I don't see any of the ps3-exclusive games going to the 360 (although i think there will be some sort of Final Fantasy, just not XIII or versus, on the xbox)-but just a question: who owns the LBP ip, sony or media molecule? because even though i know of the exclusivity and it will never happen, couldn't it possibly go to another platform if MM owns it?

Yeah in Microsoft's dreams but no harm in dreaming.
Games that I wish would come to the PS3.
Gears of War 1 & 2
Mass Effect
Too Human
Banjo Kazooie
But whatever I can live without those titles.
Most of those games I mentioned will come to the PC sooner or later anyways.

Not Gears 1 and not 2.
No Too Human.
No Banjo.
Maybe Mass Effect' but only if the game is not glitchy like the original. Truth is, I dislike Unreal Engine. If we don't get none of them, I won't give a damm.
Only one game from Xbox and PC I would like to see for the PS3.
Left 4 Dead.

Seems like they should have platform specific versions of this article, like a top ten for PS3, Wii and PC. Because while Killzone hasn't had a good origin the last game was great and Killzone 2 seems to be looking amazing. Also no Socom, whether or no confrontation would be on that list or not, Socom has a big multiplay community which most 360 owners would want. And the list goes on...

Now, all you need is a PS3.

1. MGS4 makes fun of DVD format and multi-discs, in-game.

2. Uncharted is from Naughty Dog who’s under Sony.

3. God of War is both published and developed by Sony.

4. Final Fantasy XIII and VersusXIII have been officially confirmed PS3 exclusives since TGS.
