I just hope Fable 2 takes the spotlight away form the limelight hogging Gears 2... they've only got the one big shooter this year and I can't see them letting anybody forget about it! :(

1.8 - RARE IS BACK

well after some average games, like PD: Zero, Ghoulies, Kameo, I've been extremely dissapointed in Rare, while these weren't bad games, they weren't up to the quality they had achieved with the N64 days, but Banjo is looking just plain amazing, yep after viva pinata and banjo, rare is back on the top of my favorite dev of all time. Oh and also, this is console exclusive right, because the day Left 4 Dead is an X360 exclusive is the day valve abandons its loyal PC gamers, and that ain't gonna happen.
edit: damn I forgot I was replying, anyway, I think this will be a good final E3, you've got all these great games coming out for all consoles, Ninty, Sony, M$ will all have great showings, yep it must suck to be a fanboy nowadays and only have one console with all the great exclusives coming out on the different platforms.

I'd disagree with you on that, you don't think banjo or left 4 dead matter, all gears 2 is going to be is just a nice upgrade to the first gears, not saying thats bad, I'm just saying I don't know why this is going to be huge, I'm still a little skeptical about Fable 2, the first Fable had the same hype around it, and I was extremely dissapointed with it, anyway banjo and L4D are looking wicked.
oh and also, gears had the most chessiest and cleached singleplayer, so they better not try to think people play gears for the story.

mepsipax -L4D has potential, but I'll wait for reviews. Rare are yet to make a good game with Microsoft, so I am not really holding out much hope. Cautious optomism.

I'm looking forward to Gears 2 just because I like the ridiculous machismo of the whole thing.

Mate I couldn't agree more, for me personally I'm really looking forward to Fable 2, Banjo and Left 4 Dead. I agree with your sentiments about Gears 2. It's well on track to be a very nice upgrade, but compared to those other titles I just don't find it as interesting or innovative.

I don't think RARE is going to bounce back to the fame it had with goldeneye/Killer Instinct soon.

But if Killer Instinct sequel pops out that would be on the level of a final Fantasy 7 remake. Microsoft you should give the fans what they want...Halo 4, Killer Instinct 2, and some how Knights of Old Republic 3.

but there's so many unknowns about this e3, for every developer/publisher, so many titles that are expected to make an appearence.

So many titles that we're expecting to see some infor on because they've been in a blackout for the longest time. Alan wake and La.Noir, come to mind.

Fable 2 won't break or reach graphical limits but its by far better looking than anything that the Wii can offer.

7 - The only game worth playing out of that list is fable 2.

Everything else on that list blows, I love fable, it just sucks it only on the 360, well at least for 5 months. Its going to be on the PC shortly after so I guess I'm not that sad. KZ2 is going to own anything that the 360 has to dish out. I hate the 360 it just has nothing fun on it. The 360 didn't even receive any exclusives this summer, unless you say NG2 was a good exclusive. But in the end NG2 didn't turn out to be good at all. Too human is already being claimed the worst game of 08. Eurogamer just had an article were they previewed too human. They said its the worst game they played in 5 years. I don't really blame them. Look at IGNs preview of it. The graphics look so poor, as does the gameplay. Its just a mega flop. Have fun 360 owners with fable 2. Its going to be your biggest exclusive for this gen. Well your biggest exclusive until it gets ported to the PC in 5 months :)

PoG...it's based on *preference*.

I never assumed that PS3 games would be all that great either. It depends on the outcome. I'm mostly excited about Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, God of War III, Final Fantasy XIII, but that doesn't mean they probably won't be flops.

If those games come out and they interest me, I'll buy them. If not, then that's my prerogative.

xbox360 was a fad.
it sucks.
It has the most ignored, annoying features, like achievements that block the strike box in a baseball game.
if you have a friends list, the xbox notifications take up half the screen when a friend or otherwise known as stranger comes online.
xbox live is racist children & pre-teens 24/7.
every once in a while you might find a drunk playing with kids on there.
friends don't let friends buy a xbox unless they are gonna put up the extra warranty money each time the console crashes.
xbox games are a joke. You play them to get the easy points. If you run into a hard achievement just search the Internet on your pc because there is always a glitch for them.
xbox games are small & should cost the same as wii games. Especially since you have to pay to play.
10 exclusives & they all suck!

As a gamer I could appreciate Gears of War 2 and Too Human.
The rest don't really appeal to me.
I still wonder how the 360 ended up getting so many RPGs.
The best RPG is gonna be FFXIII but the rest still looks a little bit appealing.
I'm a Sony fan but as a gamer first I can appreciate what MS has for some exclusives on the 360.
Not a fan of the 360 but a big PC fan none the less.
I hope MS shows some PC News.
