In a interview with MTV Multiplayer, Koji Igarashi a producer for Konami who worked on several Castlevania games including, Dawn Of Sorrow, Portrait Of Ruin, Castlevania Judgment and several others, expressed interest in producing a 2D Castlevania game for Nintendo's WiiWare. "I'm definitely interested in WiiWare and I think it's one of the areas that 2D can still be very strong at. I'm very much looking into that"
