Take a scoop of Mad Max, one scoop of Firefly, and a hearty helping of Diablo and you end up with Borderlands, the upcoming FPS by Gearbox Software. The game is set in Pandora, a desolate wasteland of a planet on the fringes of the galaxy. After a failed attempt at colonization forced most to leave Pandora, the remaining inhabitants are left to fend for themselves, using any means necessary to survive.
