Wii Music was shown at E3 just a couple of minutes ago, and frankly it looks awesome! They started off by showing of some air drumming. You use the Wii-mote and Nunchuck as your very own drumsticks and the Wii balance board as a bass foot pedle. This system seems to work quite well and looks like it'll give rock band and Guitar Hero a run for their money.
After the drum solo had ended, Shigeru Miyamoto walked onto the stage, playing a 'saxaphone'. He did this by holding the wiimote to his mouth, recorder style, and used the buttons on the wii-mote.
Wii Music will appeal to all gamers. There are over 50 different instruments that you can play by just moving your body. All you have to do is hold the Wii-remote and move your hands in the way you would with a real intstrument. For example, you can play a violon by simply using the nunchuck and its buttons as the neck and strings and the wii-remote as the stick. There are a variety of percussion instruments, and you can even play a guitar how you would really play it in real life...
