Glad to see more games with this feature. Personally I am trying to get a Platnium trophy on one of my games.

Hopefully they have achievements that pop up on the upper-right of the corner when you get them.

Wait since when does Wii have achievements?

Edit: I asked a question people don't disagree and run off without an answer.

It's not a universal achievement system. It's done on a game-by-game basis and they usually unlock artwork or bonus stuff.

"It's not a universal achievement system"

True but the support for achievements are getting better on Wii.

I know many people who will buy the game now solely because it has achievements. That's become such a selling point for games now.

Your actually right about that. Many gamers look to achievements for added replay value, can't say I blame them.

360 Wii PS3 Yup - 189 days 10 hours ago
5 - Funny
While all lot of this people hate the wii because of the graphics, controls, or game selection, my biggest gripe with the wii is not having a full blown achievement system like the PS3 and 360 built into the system and not a game by game basis. Metroid Prime 3 had a achievement like system and it was a blast to collect all the extras, I just wish it was a channel on the wii and you could check out all the games you have got achievements for. This is encouraging news though as i'm probably going to buy Red Steel 2 over wii sports resort so its cool to see this game getting achievements.

6 - Yeah
I know but it seems like Red Steel 2 will do achievements better just because of the nature of the game. And I don't want to pony up 50 bucks for Resort will probably rent when I have friends over

7 - I have a wii, but mainly play my PS3 and 360
But im really glad the wii has this, seems like a real step in the right direction, and its on a game that could be one of the wiis strongest this year too.

Wii is really starting to come into its own now. The Conduit just dropped and has been monopolizing many of my nights. Tiger 10 with M+ is probably the greatest gold game ever made. We are getting WSR in a couple of weeks, and for the holiday we got NSMB Wii and Red Steel 2.

"Wii has no games" My A$$.
