Other developers have done worse, much worse. Remember the .hack games? 4 games, $200, for essentially nothing more than just story, mechanics never changed in such a way that impacted the game. There's also plenty of sequels that will just offer a new weapon or something and call it a day.

The game is looking like it will have a greater emphasis on Yoshi, which is cool, since he's the new mechanic of the game, and hopefully there will more to flying Mario. I loved SMG, so even just a flat out expansion wouldn't be terrible.

The company loves to reap money out of customers. They always come up with cheap ways like that Wii Gun thingy. At least now its a game.

I wonder how long it is before the trolls come here b!tching about nintendo rehashing things after they just slapped down their preorders for Halo ODST, Guitar Hero 5, Rachet and Clank, and Halo Reach. Screaming Nintendo to make something new even though you know good and well these trolls didn't even play Super Mario Galaxy 1.

9 - No "New" Suits?
I think there are two ways to interpret this, one way is that there is only going to be the same suits from Mario Galaxy 1, or it could mean that they have created no new suit ideas from scratch so it could still include classic suits from the old games such as the Tanooki suit etc...I know thats unlikely but I can always dream...Still really looking forward to the game though!

10 - I could care less...
as long as there are new environments, new puzzles, and another 121 stars to get, I'm a happy camper! SMG was a blast to play -- probably one of the funnest (and at times, most frustrating) games I've ever played, so if SMG2 is going to be just more of the same, then I say BRING IT ON!! Can't wait.

11 - I'm more concerned
with the fact that the music so far is midi rather than orchestrated. Perhaps and hopefully it will change, but a huge part of the mood to SMG was the music, and the quality thereof. I hope they don't go cheap on us in this second game...
