Fatal Inertia hits PSN next week - No Trophies

The downloadable PSN version of 360 racer Fatal Inertia will be out on PSN next week in Europe, July 15, developer Koei has confirmed.

Look at the effect Trophies are having already lol :D

Maybe some developers should listen to these people and realise that patching older games (and definitely new games) will probably equate to a few more sales!

And I would not wipe my arse with Fatal Inertia. If I want to play an anti-grav game I will wait and play a real one... Wipeout HD. No wannabe Wipeout games for me.

This game is obscene (try it from jpn store if you can). Maybe trophies could save it "a bit".

I'd buy it for Trophies if it were $9.99, but probably no more.

Ah well, if upcoming games can't step up and incorporate Trophies, they're gonna sell less than games that do. Simple as that.

And Sony, get some damn backbone and make Trophy support the law. C'mon now. You don't introduce a kick-ass rewards system and only give the option of using it.

But it's not required for games that have already been released. It's only required for future games. No matter what game, it has to require trophies.

I wish someone would say that already & stop posting these articles of developers not patching [enter old PS3 game released here] for trophies.

The real concern is worrying if future PS3 games will support custom soundtracks.

12 - This is a poor mans Wipeout
I played the demo today and I was so bored playing the tutorial I almost didn't finish the demo. Average graphics, weak sound track, un imaginative weapons, predictable presentation, and from the demo it's rather slow. It does have a smooth frame rate but it's so boring.

A friend of mine asked me what I thought of the game and I told him it reminds me of a project a grad student trying to break into the industry might create.

It is a little disappointing it doesn't support trophies considering it is coming out (in NA) after the patch for trophy support but even if it did support it I wouldn't purchase this game.
