I mean if third party devs created an engine strictly just for the ps3 just like Insomniac and Naughty Dog has done, I can see games looking way better on the ps3 then the 360. Its the honest truth, no fanboy crap here, I let the games do the talking for me.

the PS2 is the weakest console of last gen. It also saddens me that the PS3 is hampering developers with its stupid architecture that only devs with huge budgets and unusually long dev cycles can take advantage of all that supposed power. Metal Gear and GT5 make my point for me. I can see you are very sad.

Don't sweat the disagrees Omega. I've logged this guy(s) i.p. and he has over 30 accounts he's been using to promote sony and trash MS. You actually only have 4 legit disagrees so far. Isn't that right Hydrolex. I'm thinking sony might have them a little "gold farmer" company working this site. I've also traced the I.P. to PSU, and SPG. When I finally get some form of proof of payment, we'll have a very interesting story to read about here at N4G.

There's no way to find out from which IP addresses posts and (dis)agrees come unless you have admin access rights to the webserver n4g.com is running on and can read its access log files. You have no idea about how TCP/IP and WWW protocols work, you wannabe hacker.

Axis Animation have worked with Sony since Killzone 1. They were also mentioned in the buzz surrounding the pre-rendered E3 2005 trailer of Killzone 2.

Not saying there's anything wrong with that, just that Axis might not have any references to than any of the other consoles.

i've been a huge PS3 fan(boy) but now i've to admit that i realized that the system svcks major a** compared to the xbox 360.

amazing graphics? .... ok, some games, like Uncharted, Heavenly Sword and Motorstorm are looking very good. but the rest is just meh.

every multiplatform game i know performs better on the 360, even GTA IV (on- and offline) i don't know why but it's just like that. i played through the whole game on PS3 and sometimes the framerate dropped below 20 where on the xbox 360 everything runs smooth and fine - why? i paid so much money for the PS3 just to get games that look and play much worse than on the xbox 360?

because of framerate problems and online lagging i sold my ps3 and got a 360 again.

Jericho, PES 2008, Condemned 2, Kane & Lynch, Dark Sector, Turok, The Darkness, EA's skate (OMG), NBA 2K 08, Assassin's Creed, GTA IV, Army Of Two and many many more.

all these games gave me a headache when playing them on the ps3 because 1. they got framerate problems, 2. the controls with the SIXAXIS are not nearly as good as with the 360 controller and 3. the online in some games svcked major a** over PSN.

here's a link to a framerate comparison of GTA IV on PS3 and 360 - so go and see for yourself. it may be nitpicking but if it hinders the gameplay ...

You've played all those games on both systems? I thing you have bigger problems beside which console to pick.

Back on topic: This guy is definately in the Sony camp. Any cross platform dev would never single out a console, no matter what his opinion is.(unless you work at Valve)

Did you fall down and smack your silly little head? To tell the absolute truth, the Xbox 360 is in no way superior to the PS3. Anybody who can say the 360 has more potential, power, etc is living in a fantasy world. As for your list of games, they were created by some of the laziest devs on the planet, and obviously they're going to prefer to developer a game for an architecture they're already acquainted with, the 360's being somewhat similar to a PC's.

But if you want to miss out on R2, K2, FFXIII/Versus, GT5, MGS4, LBP, and the many other PS3 exclusives then go right ahead.

9 - Why I haven't Purchased a Ps3 and the xbox360 yet
Well to me I'm not really impressed with the Ps3, and the xbox360, their's only a few games that I want on them, graphics don't impress me anymore because the only thing I wanted was next-gen gameplay mechanics. I want to buy a ps3 and a 360 this year but with all this my console is better than yours policy by Sony and Microsoft a part of me I'm not buying into what they say anymore. Anyhow when I get a ps3 and a 360 this year I plan to never come back on a game forum.

that was the hugest lie I ever heard of. If its true, this guy has to be the biggest follower. the extremist case of a.d.d in idontcares logic.
He would have to believe in all the hype everytime sometthing was printed to be trading back & forth consoles to play what he thought was better at the time.
Whats even funnier is that when he tries to trade his xbox 360 again for a ps3, it might just rrod right in the store! OOoooops.
He must have a special suitcase to be lugging consoles all the time.
