I've learned that game looks slightly better and everything else is almost the same, completely same game mechanics, controls, crosshairs... Looks more like a GOW1 version 2.0 than like GOW2.
It doesn't mean that it's a bad thing, i just expected more inovation.

2.1 - You want more inovation?

Than stop looking at sequels, there are few sequels that bring anything new to the table other than beefed up graphics and new missions.

Sequels aare made because the devs know they "worked" before.
IF you want something new and I believe all of us do start looking at some of the new Ip's and stop investing passion for old ones.

Gears was a great game and I will buy the sequel because I know it will be just as good as the first but does that mean I want them to continue making more and more and more of them... NO

It just means that I like playing games and I take what I can get.
... Basically we have no control over what we get.

But don't let the new IP's pass you buy because of massive hype over certain games.

yeah but god of war is a single player game, so people don't refer to it nearly as often as they do GoW, which is what gives Gears of War the rights to gow.

4 - PC version

I think i'll wait for the PC version. THe PC version of GeOW was better than the 360. So, I expect the PC version to be better than 360 again.
Ofcoure I'll play GeOW2 on the 360 first *if the PC comes out later that is*

i think the new game looks basically the same with wider backgrounds and more stuff going on in the background. New guns will be nice, but probably won't add to the gameplay. and the chainsaw dueling i'm going to lose every time cuz i have no interest in pounding B every time this happens. Plus, if 2 is anything like the original, it's going to have a ton of bugs which is what they should be working out. If i see one person get outta the map in the sequel i'm going to freak out. And GET RID OF ACTIVE SNIPER FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!

wow ppl really took that personally! am i the only one that noticed the major flaws of the first game. i still like it. but it needs a ton of work. eye candy isn't everything. you can choose to ignore the flaws, but that's how they don't get resolved. everyone knows that sometimes boom shoots blanks, everyone knows the host has an advantage, everyone knows active reload snipe is just about the most undesirable feature we've seen in a shooter (except those ppl who are terrible at the game but have convinced themselves they are not by running for the snipe EVERY ROUND). People are so hostile on N4G. Grow up. I thought we were discussing adult games? yet for some reason all the people who comment are 12 years old.

It's the gameplay, but there is really a big difference between 1 and 2. Also keep in mind that the clip we are watching happens early in the game. So this tells me there is more coming. No enviornment destruction, the new enemies, the Snow mountain alluded to in Game Informer. So pardon me if I don't agree. We are only in May. Wow...just...Wow

There are testers right now playing this game. I'm wondering what else are they working on, because it looks good enough to play at this very second. I have a feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg. E3 is going to be scary come July. Locust shields? Ass chainsawining? Shooting Bruhmaks in the face??? Spare me no title is touching this game in my eyes, I don't need the flame from haters to tell me otherwise.

I agreed with you at first and then I saw "Another thing...Gears 2 pisses on MGS4.". How would you know? Did you play and beat them both? Dont get me wrong, GeoW 2 will be awesome, but MGS4 will be awesome as well. Dont judge a game by the trailers or screenshots or whatever, wait until you can actually play them both or atleast wait until they both come out.
