GameSpy: Quake Live: John Carmack Interview

GameSpy: "Quake Live is an experiment of sorts for id Software. Instead of a mega-blockbuster shooter that pushes the state of the art in graphics to greater limits, it's a free web-based version of Quake III Arena, focusing on accessibility and community-oriented features over bleeding-edge tech. Quake Live is transitioning from the closed beta experience to open beta, so players from all demographics will be able to check out the game first-hand. I had the chance to chat with John Carmack and Marty Stratton of id Software to learn more about this brave new world that they're exploring."
