You want to put a Custom Firmware on your PSP 3000 ? Until now it was impossible to do it, but a developer of PSPGen succeed to do it ! Check out the source to see how he has done...
Acquire, famous for games like Tenchu and Octopath Traveler, becomes KADOKAWA subsidiary. Can this mean a revival for beloved series?
I would kill to have a Way of the Samurai game with a huge budget and modern tech... The first game was one of my greatest joys on PS2 back in the day. And I really hope From Software will do something with Tenchu... I hate that they're just sitting on the IP like it doesn't even exist.
Tenchu would be superb in this day and age. Ninja and samurai games are hot right now and more is better.
Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?
Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.
The organizer of "Stop Killing Games" hopes to get France and other governments to examine the legality of live service shutdowns. Scott has launched a new website, Stop Killing Games, to rally opposition to the games industry's "assault on both consumer rights and preservation of media," as he puts it.
Should probably get them to implement offline mode when it comes to games you can play single player
It's shitty playing something solo and having to be connect despite being offline within the game.
It's worse when you get the games which can't be paused, I remember the doorbell going during a huge fight in Monster Hunter World, it took me ages but realised you couldn't pause. I ended up getting slaughtered after spending so long almost killing it.
should do what gran truismo on ps54 did, after severs shut, they unlock everything in the campaign to be played offline
there's no need for anti-cheat 'always online' which was always their excuse, thats and updating gamer progression
Ppl get confused about this lawsuit, this guy has a point, if you don't want to pay for server cause no one is playing that's fine, at least make it PVP, that isn't hard and people paid for the game. So there for it shouldn't be unplayable. Offline is not what he's fighting for but that would be single player. He just fighting for PVP as to dedicated if you going to take it down.
I agree with this one! I hope he wins!
Should pin this to let it be on top for a while. This sort of stuff should get some good amount of attention, could actually make some good change in the industry.
SP games yes, MP games, its a question of whos maintaing the servers etc and keeing them online.
Proof of concept at the moment but they are getting closer and closer - best sell my slim while it still holds a premium...
It was bound to happen sooner or later .
All of you console constructors , that's what happens when you prevent homebrews ... the console get hacked for the purpose of bringing homebrew , but then along with it , through the smashed door comes piracy ... while you could at least have tried a controlled homebrew friendly environnement , and squashed hypocritals "legitimate claims" of doing it for the people
Nice. But the screen on the PSP 3000 gives stripes all over the screen. I won't sell my PSP 2000 with custom firmware because of that.
But for those already that bought the 3000 its good news. Lets hope the pandora battery will be functional again also, not just a game hack that Sony will be able to patch as soon as the hack is released...
Misleading headline, there hasn't been any custom firmware on psp3000 running yet, its only a homebrew enabler
I have a PSP 3000 and it doesnt have the lines all over the screen
