Valve invites Sony to play TF2, Sony wins 6-0

Valve has invited Sony Online Entertainment for a Team Fortress 2 match, which has been of course played on PC. Final Score: SOE 6-0 Valve.

Are you kidding me? First couple of seconds in I would've hit the chromedome in my first shot. Although the title seems a bit misleading....

EDIT: I haven't seen the Valve part, I'm 14 min in and all I see is Valve, and them getting kicked out of Gearbox.

Plz ignore.

so thats why they make no games on ps3

MEGANE5715d ago

so f@#$ing funny....good one!!

Bladestar5715d ago

it seems Sony spends more time playing xbox 360/PC games than on their own console.

nomad1175715d ago

There Sony Online Entertainment they make games for ps3 and PC you Ignorant tool.

Spydiggity5715d ago (Edited 5715d ago )

that was the most predictable comment anyone could have made. and, it doesn't even make sense. but leave it to the fanboys to pretend it's hilarious anyway.

plus valve likes sony...obviously. why else would they invite them to play. they aren't skipping ps3 because they don't want to develop for it. they are skipping it cuz there isn't a big enough market on that system to justify paying a whole team of ppl to port the game.

Cdaja5715d ago

Tell me if I am wrong but to my knowledge they aren't making anything for the Wii either and the wii is WAY ahead of both the PS3 and the 360.

funkeystu5715d ago

@CDaja - Spydiggity's comment was that it would cost* more to port it to a new system than what it'd return to them in sales. I think this would apply even moreso to the wii as porting it to run on wii-hardware would be incredibly difficult indeed, and most of the wii crowd probably wouldn't buy it anyway.

64 bit support is not the same as a next gen upgrade. 64 bit has been used for like 12-15 years now?
