GameSpy: BioWare's Greg Zeschuk Talks Dragon Age

It's pretty much feast or famine when it comes to BioWare. It wasn't too long ago that gamers were wondering just what the company had planned following the release of Jade Empire. Now, two original IP launches later, it seems like the revered RPG developer has developed a taste for working without licensor-imposed constraints.

Following the ceremonious re-announcement of Dragon Age: Origins, it's natural to wonder whether the house that D&D built will buckle if it invites non-Wizards-approved ogres over for a visit. But judging from the weight of the world that BioWare created with Mass Effect, it's probably safe to say that if anyone can reinvent the vorpal sword, it's probably BioWare.

GameSpy spoke to studio co-founder Dr. Greg Zeschuk yesterday following our Dragon Age demo. Read on to hear what the man has to say about the state of high fantasy computing, PC exclusivity, and more.
