I, at launch decided to go with the PS3 version of the game as i never thought the DLC would be of this quality and scale.
So after reading some reviews i decided to go buy the 360 version of the game for the DLC. The expansion costs 1600 points.
This review will be short since i don't want to review GTAIV the game as a whole.
Graphics:
Same as GTAIV, however - there is a film-type filter they automatically apply to the game as soon as you start it up, i quickly turned that off.
Sound:
Once again, the sound effects of the guns, bikes, cars helicopters are all great. Extra music to fit the theme of the game and story.
Gameplay:
This is the most suprising part of the DLC for me, there are a few extra game mechanics that i enjoyed, it really mixed things up to the point where i enjoyed playing the game itself more than the main GTAIV story mode. Variety is much greater than the original.
Online:
There are some great extra modes included in the DLC, they do, once again mix things up a bit but they do not have much lasting appeal. I struggled to find full games online, sometimes waiting upwards of 10 minutes, i eventually gave up. But once i did get into a game, i enjoyed the new modes, especially witness protection.
Story:
This is where the DLC shines. Great voice acting, great diagloe and overall very high production values.
The interesting part though, is how they integrate the story with the main story of niko belic of GTAIV. This is something i wish more developers would explore with their games.
Conclusion:
This is another step in the right direction for downloadable content, this is where i feel digital distribution should be heading and would love to see more episodic DLC in the future.
I completed the story of the DLC in 6 hours, which does make me question the value when compared to the 24 hours it taken me to complete the main story in GTAIV - however, compared to other full retail games - 6 hours is a fair length.
So, if you were a fan of GTAIV and you do own the xbox 360 version of the game then i do recommend this DLC.
USgamer:"By the time the average American teenager has reached the ninth grade, chances are they've been exposed to one or two (or 20) graphically violent films. When I was growing up, most parents seemed to accept (if not condone) the viewing of these kinds of movies and television shows. It was inevitable that their children would eventually discover them. I vividly remember a friend's father renting a Freddy Kruger film for us when we were 12 years old. The year was 2002 – just a few months after the release of Grand Theft Auto III."
Neil writes "It must be said, this week's Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale isn't the greatest Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners have ever seen. In fact, it's pretty tough to pick out a couple of standout bargains. But we have...just!"
Isn't this article a duplicate?

I agree with the others though, not great month this time. Lot's of good stuff coming up though, just need to be patient.

I'm waiting for the Witcher 2 games with gold that's coming after the 15th of January. Perfect timing for me, as I was going to pick it up before The Witcher 3 released because I never played the series. Thanks!!!
I've always aimed to get the 360 version when it was cheap in case the DLC turned out to be good, I also got the PS3 version initially because I refuse to pay an additional bill to play online and GTA to me, still belongs on Playstation, as will Tekken.
I sort of liked GTAIV but wanted more crazy stuff out of it, I hope the next GTA title is a lot less mature as I think that immaturity has always been one of GTA's selling points. I personally find Saints Row 2 more fun, but GTAIV had its times.
I still think the original design document was one big games with all these chapters on the space of Blu-Ray, but it came to a point that a GTA game had to be released, nobody was willing to chip in with the cost, so MS made a deal for the rest of the intended game as 'episodes'.
Anyway, probably be picking this and a secondhand copy of GTAIV for 360 in the near future and for the additional episode(s?).
