Score: 95%
Pros:
Single Player: "Storyline, Graphics, Gameplay, and Sound... /GG"
The storyline is killer, and the pace is break neck. If you're looking for an FPS that keeps you engaged, the single-player campaign delivers.
One example of from the single player campaign would be the airport scene:
It's just one example of the high intensity action that really hits home with settings and plots which cut to the chase and tap into, unfortunately, what are scenarios which strike a note with those of us gaming through the age of the "War of Terror".
The combination of intense graphics, sound, and gameplay create the environment of an intense, cinematic, and immersive gaming experience.
Multi-player: "Keeping it fresh by cleaning up nade spam and adding features."
Following up on the performance of the previous title, the multi-player elements of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are solid. Infinity Ward canned nade spamming and martyrdom, so your'e not going to have to worry so much about being killed by opponents who care little for their life. Improved "Kill Streak" features, new unlockable weapons, and a healthy variety of maps keeps the re-play value of this game healthy. Finally, the addition of "Death Streaks" will ensure you can brag to friends about getting pwned at your next get together!
Cons:
As a pc gamer, Activision's decision to essentially ban clan servers was #fail!, however, after playing this game for about 30 minutes, I realized this was still a very well built game.
The original Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 games have been drawing players back in
I really hope we get other activision games on GP soon. My dream would be Scarface but I know the license probably expired
None of those games had dedicated servers on console in the first place? Were always player hosted. Did something change?
Many players on social media are now reporting unannounced matchmaking fixes have been put in place by Activision ranging from Call of Duty 3 to Modern Warfare 2 to Black Ops 2, on Xbox 360. Players are reporting that player counts are updating, lobbies forming, and matchmaking times have been reduced. Neither Activision nor Microsoft have commented on the matter when reached out to at this time. This is currently impacting both 360 and BC versions of the games. PS3 is not affected at this time.

Multiple users coming forward saying the games are finally working again after years of server issues. Note that not all issues such as player counts are totally fixed at this time however matchmaking is fully working again. With legacy Call of Duty games releasing on Game Pass within the next 2 years, it does make sense for these servers to eventually be corrected. Good to see the preservation of these legendary games. Hopefully PS3 receives the same treatment for these legacy titles!

Imagine that.
Conspiracy theory: MS have been planning on purchasing ABK for a long time. They let Sony outbid them for having console-exclusive CoD stuff/being first for certain dlc so the PlayStation player base would increase.
Years later, MS buy ABK, with plans to make CoD either exclusive/platform exclusive features etc with the release of a new console (Xbox Series X2?) So the established CoD player base migrates over to their platform, taking a huge percentage off Sony?
Wild theory
Modern Warfare 2 fans have taken to Reddit to mock Call of Duty for reusing skin designs in the BlackCell pass ahead of Season 4 launch.
