First Virtua Fighter 5 R trailer and new additions listed, like the characters Taka-Arashi and Jean Kujo

VGB writes: Sega AM2 announced a revision of Virtua Fighter 5 called Virtua Fighter 5 R - which is considered to be an equivalent to Virtua Fighter 4's Evolution update - at the AOU Amusement Expo back in February.

I think Soul 4, Street Fighter 4 and Tekken 6 are much more interesting and worth watching out for.

VF is for a pretty specific group. Its not really good for people to button mash with compared to tekken or SC, it takes a long time to master any character. Dont get me wrong, SC and Tekken are great games and i love them, but VF requires lots of patience and skill.

I agree , i dislike VF for two reasons , its not my cup of tea gameplay wise , when its a pure simulation (a genre i tend to dislike in every type) , but also i feel that every VF character got the charisma and appeal of an oyster .

however when you're into fighting simulations , there is VF period .
tekken is more an arcade-simu hybrid .

5 - If this releases at a budget price (which for a PS3 game would be about $30)

Just like VF4: EVO I'll pick it up. Hopefully it will contain online play for the PS3 version. My favorite fighter in VF4: Evolution was Kage Maru, The kick-A$$ ninja.

Virtua Fighter 5 is my favorite fighter. It's so deep and you can you can not bang buttons and win on it.

I guess this is how they are getting online into the pS3 version. Oh well, I am not buying it again.

The so-called "sonygods" are bringing us the biggest game of the year in just 11 days, not to mention also that the sonygods are bringing us a superior version of Bioshock in the fall, Ha Ha (among all the other top year blockbusters including Resistence 2 and LBP, as well as the groundbreaking Home).

the biggest game of the year was already released, GTA4

and the best selling exclusive is coming to the 360, Gears of War 2.

Yeah, yeah, you do realise MS has now lost it's exclusive Bioshock, Lost Planet and Mass Effect now all comming to Ps3, so yea you're right the biggest exclusive game is Gears of War 2 comming to 360, infact the only really good exclusive left on 360, Sony has 360 number, get ready for the biggest games of the year, Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Turismo 5, Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2, Tekken 6, Little Big Planet, Wardevil amoungst many other games, what exclusives do you Xbots have comming out this year?

its about the same amount as the ps3, with the big guns beng Gears, Too Human, and Fable 2. Of the games you mentioned only 3 of them have been confirmed for this year.

and please dont get me started on the many exclusives Sony has already lost to MS so far this gen.

Only 3 ? it's quite obvious resistance 2 , Metal gear 4 , tekken 6 , little big planets are coming this year .

And why the hell does everyone always forget wipeout hd , even among sonydroids , its on the store but its still hell of a game .

Let's also add stuff like the siren remake , Socom , Valkyria Chronicles , Disgaea 3 and x edge , even if no one outside of the jrpg crowd cares , and the naruto ps3 game .

360 got a busy year too , but the '08 line up of the ps3 is more my taste .
i'm tired of molyneux lackluster last games , and oddly i still find nothing interesting in Too human . I'm probably wrong , as it might have some qualities , but it sounds as if people are trying to hype it , since recent months , to compensate for a lack of great exclusive , around its release ...

On the 360 side , i'm much more excited by titles like Infinite undiscovery , tales of vesperia , finally a mmo on console other than final fantasy like age of Conan , and i have no doubt gears of war 2 will sells , thought i'm not see a huge evolution .
