2 - regardless of the system it is on...

I kinda am not all that excited for this. I really liked the first one... so I am a little taken a back by my lack luster enthusiasm for this. Maybe i am just not liking the choice to stay in Vegas with the game.... just something about it feels blah.

3.1 - Looks exactly like the first.

You see this a lot in Clancy games. Take for instance GRAW. GRAW 2 wasn't a whole lot different than the first but I'm sure it sold tons of copies. I was hoping for more graphic wise but if they can fix the lousy frame rate that would be a plus. There also definitely needs to be a better PS3 version this time around. I'm glad you can jump right into matches like in Rainbow Six 3. I hate waiting until a round is over just to find out that the host has quit and you need to start the waiting game all over. I never understood why they ever made that change in the first place. Looks like March is going to be another expensive month if everything doesn't get delayed like usual.

lol i would rather play, COD, Warhawk, or resistance over R6 crappy multiplayer... By the time this comes out next year we will have MGS:Online, KZ2 online, LBP and Resistance 2 coming in the fall. Not to mention GT:online, I think I may rent this one...

I'm really looking forward to Conviction and EndWar. However, this just seems like more of the same. Hopefully I'm wrong, but the other Tom Clancy titles seem to be evolving and doing more impressive things while the Rainbow Six series had it's big change when your team count was knocked down to three soldiers.

6.1 - Im worried about Splinter Cell 5 too

I mean the idea is awesome but the combat system looks well just not fun. But the shooting will hopefully be exciting and it looks like a guard is following you can just punch him than move on which in my opinon is too easy. Rainbow six vegas 2 looks out but multiplayer will bring me guaranteed and can anyone give a summary of info because my subscription just ran out ( whenever my subscription runs out they print the first interesting article about a game in a year)

what i think xplos meant or should have said is; that they should not bother putting it out if it doesnt compare to the current fps's that we have. they have raised the bar, and when making the game you should know damn well if it isnt up to par.

I suppose, but in reality you can't have every game raise to the next level as the previous. Sometimes you try and make a great game and still fail. I know everyone picks on Lair, but aside from its controls it was a pretty good game. It would have been better had the motion been an option, but the developers tried to do something new and "raise the bar" but it backfired on them. So I'm not saying you shouldn't try to be better than the last, its the only way we can make progress, but its silly to think every new can will be a gaming breakthrough in some way.

point taken, your logic is a bit more reasonable than the way i was looking at it. I know that they cant all raise the bar, but I still think they should no if they are not even in the same league as the other games in said genre. (im looking at you Soldier of Fortune.)

After the ***ked-up PC versions of R6V and SC:DA Ubisoft put out, I won't be buying any Ubisoft game for quite a while. (I'll probably get Far Cry 2 if what the developers are saying is true--that they are striving to put out a triple A PC title to redeem Ubisoft's name in the PC gaming market.)

i wish they would put your team count back up to like 5 or 6 like the earlyer versions but thats just me. hope they make both versions to match each other in game play grafix and options stop makeing 1 version less quailty learn from cod4 that should be what standerds to go off of least for the next year or so...

RFOM is a shooter.
Upcomming MGS4 and Killzone 2 are shooters. Well, you can shoot stuff in those games.
